Amazing adrenaline fueled blast.
Vektor Wars is like the lovechild of Battlezone and Robotron. It has the visuals (tarted up for the 20th century) of Battlezone and the action of Robotron.
You do however need to use your brain and work out a strategy. Even me with my ageing reflexes, I can complete story mode and get respectable high scores on the other modes.
The main thing is makeAmazing adrenaline fueled blast.

The main thing is make sure you have run toggle on and at the start of the game, hit A (Run) and use the time before the enemies start spawning to stock up on weapons, making use of the mini map to guide you to where they are. After that keep moving (not in a straight line), shooting and heading for your next weapon pick up.
and remember the shoulder buttons change weapon
There are a load of other things I could tell you, but then I would loose my advantage :)
It has 5 Game modes.
Story: It has a story line about an alien robot invasion and you travel from level to level collecting power packs to receive messages and rescuing 'robo droids'.
Arcade: You start with 3 lives, however as you get extra lives it can be a very long game (although you do get to keep your score if you exit).
Deadline: Score as much as you can in 5 minutes.
Sequence: You have 2 minutes in 5 levels to score as much as you can.
Survival: (My favourite) 1 life, no health pickups and survive as long as you can while destroying the enemy.
The controls work well, just make sure you leave aim lock and helper on.
The most satisfying thing is triggering a chain reaction where the splash damage of one robot exploding triggers the explosion of neighbors and you can watch almost a whole wave blowing up littering the ground with score multipliers.
All in all a game you'll keep coming back to if you want a quick adrenaline fueled blast.… Expand
