Oct 11, 2018There's nothing unpleasant about Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story. It's easy to pick up and play for short bursts, and as a simulator, its simplicity makes for a nice change of pace. It's also charming and actually does offer an intriguing world and narrative. In just about every area, the game could also have been much more than it is, but everyone needs inoffensive time wasters too, and Valthirian Arc scratches that itch nicely.

Oct 16, 2018Valtherian Arc is an enjoyable experience that simply needed a bit more polish to be really effective. Unlocking new classes and skills is fun and offers a fresh change in the combat. While there are some frustrating features and gameplay mechanics, Valtherian Arc can still be fun for many players.

Mar 6, 2019Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story offers a great concept of running a hero school, but delivers it in much more humble fashion than it may seem. A simple combat and repetitive gameplay, won't hook you for days. But for what charm it has, Valthirian Arc is something you should at least try out for a little while.
