Thought i'd snap this up and risk taking one for the team. It's pretty damn poor people... Not unplayable bad, but it's bad, although my 5 year old will get an hour or so out of it.
The GRFX are blurry as a vasolined mirror and the skill ceiling is at ground level. The frame rate on some levels is also well below 30.
The ghost you will race to beat your best time unfortunately only races

The ghost you will race to beat your best time unfortunately only races your last attempt. This resulted in me numerous time beating the ghost but not beating my quickest time. It's a massive oversight in a game like this.
There are 25 generic levels that get rotated twice for both a time attack and trick attack mode. I can't emphasise the word generic any higher here..
The only saving grace is my child may find it mildly entertaining. Steer clear of this until it's on sale in a few months.
    I paid $30AUD

The controls are horrible. Never before have I played a game with such bad controls. The motorcycle is completely unresponsive and pulling off wheelies are almost impossible because of the crap controls.

If you just want something to jump in and out of without any commitment required, Urban Trial Playground will more or less do the trick. If you want anything more than that, you’ll probably have to wait until Trials Rising in February, but until then, this will act as an okay stopgap.

An average arcade game for relaxing after a long day that will entertain you for a while but in a few days, you will forget about it. The core of the game is fun, but after playing for a while you are facing stereotype and boredom.

With a competitive Freestyle mode, Urban Trial Playground would likely have earned itself a spot in the roster of local multi games I play with my roommates. I would have loved to compete with them for high scores in UTP’s impeccably designed courses. Unfortunately, UTP’s multiplayer only offers the lesser of its two modes, which means I’ve had all the enjoyment there is to have with it. I’ll think fondly of it, but like those ’90s Capri Sun commercials, its days are past.
