Aug 28, 2023At first it seems interesting but one hour into the game it became incredible repetitive and the humor overstayed its welcome. I regret buying this game.

Aug 28, 2023My most favourite video game of all time! Undertale is so good on Switch, the best way to play it imo. The special edition box set by Fangamer contains so many neat things, I love it! The game itself everyone knows by now... the characters are so adorable and the music is great throughout! Just play it already!

Jul 24, 2023Interesting at first, but instantly turns into cringe humour and nonsensical gameplay a few minutes in. I neither have a mental issue nor take illegal drugs so yes, I did not get the satire/social commentary/artistry/(insert deflection here)

Jul 3, 2023Come on, it's Undertale! Anything below a 9 is a crime! Papyrus! Sans! Mettaton! Not to mention the soundtrack! A must-play for any gamer!

May 9, 2023This is a fantastic game! The story and characters are amazing. There is so much to talk about! But after few completed runs the game is just boring but still its great!

Mar 3, 2023Undertale is, in my opinion, one of the greatest games of all time, and the greatest indie game ever (Minecraft doesn't count as it isn't an indie game anymore)
It has great characters, killer songs, i.e. Megalovania (duh), and also I love the little secret that new players will be blown away by -
Feb 22, 2023The game is amazing (after all, it is Undertale)
What’s not amazing is joycon drift… genocide run is unbeatable now. Worst version of this game but still good 8/10 -
Feb 11, 2023While not being a perfect game Undertale holds a very special space in my heart, it made me appreciate a lot of things in gaming that I took for granted, the soundtrack, character writing, and environmental design to say a few. The RPG elements were handled well and the option of being able to choose genocide or pacifism was amazing along with the pixel art style.

Jan 10, 2023This game is so fun if you are thinking about playing I would. The gameplay and characters are so awesome and it is so replayable

Jan 10, 2023i play video games for 30+ years now but i never played such an overhyped game. easily bottom 20.
the game is half hearted designed, the art is horrible, the characters are depthless, the story is completely predictable and it is just a pain to play.
the only pros are the music and the fresh combat design. but that doesn't save the game from being bad.
don't get the hype... -
Jan 6, 2023One of the most thoroughly enjoyable retro-style RPGs I've ever played (on the pacifist run), Undertale succeeds above its style's limitations to deliver fleshed out characters, surprisingly challenging combat systems, a great soundtrack, and shocking story twists.

Sep 4, 2022It was an ok game but that’s it. It's a slightly different game with some fun, a fine storyline and a different battlemode. But when I played it it reminded me of a mobile game. I don't really think there was anything really fantastic about this game.

Sep 11, 2022Tedious, repetitive, stupidly punishing, capriciously incomprehensible, filled with ludicrously violent action and trite humour. Overrated. Overpriced. Unemotional. The game tries too hard to be special. You die and die and die and die incessantly in this game for no reason. 0/10.

Jul 27, 2022This game is an outstandingly unique experience. Unbelieveable one man alone came up with the story, programmed all of it and made this legendary soundtrack.

May 8, 2022Never in my life have I played a game where I feel in love with the characters and story to the point, I can remember all their names and dialog. Don't let the graphics fool you this game with make you cry and beg more content. The music is some of the best I ever heard, and I find it fun replaying making different choices. Undertale is a must buy.

Apr 13, 2022The game does so many things that I wish more games did. Choosing between killing or being a pacifist, it has different endings with boss fights that you can never forget, and great humour. The music is also some of the best video game music of all time.

-
Mar 31, 2022Undertale is probably the best top down rpg, a very good sense of humor with strong characters and writing, a beautiful art style, arguably one of the best video game soundtracks and a fun gameplay style that is fairly challenging.
-
Mar 28, 2022Undertale was a joy of a game to beat. It has the charm of a game made by a single guy and expands on a genre of games I typically do not enjoy, turn based rpgs. Although I find some parts of the game boring and not every joke lands Undertale is a game I had lots of fun playing and was a great refresher from all the darker games I normally play.

Oct 25, 2018One of the most original modern JRPGs of all time, and beatable at the fraction of the time. Once you get over its primitive aesthetic, you’ll soon realise why everyone else has been so captivated by Toby Fox’s creation.
-
Sep 25, 2018Toby Fox's work is not just an anecdote: it is perfectly well-thought out. It hides something that connects directly or indirectly to anyone who has spent too much time with a gamepad in his hands.
