Sep 22, 2018Undertale has everything to be a good game, people are endearing and funny, the atmosphere is nice, the music is beautiful in short the game is a masterpiece if you are a fan of RPG or not I advise you strongly to try it
-
Dec 15, 2020Undertale is THE best RPG, I would even say this game is much more than an RPG. The characters and areas are memorable, the mechanics are perfect, and the adventure the game will take you on lets you expirience everything- joy, horror, respite, and everything in between. And the soundtrack is absolutley amazing, probably one of the best videogame OSTs of all time.
-
Aug 4, 2019Undertale is unlike any other game I've ever played. Highly recommended for everyone. I strongly suggest you go in blind - don't read anything about it or watch any videos, if you can help it. Just remember, you don't have to kill anyone. (Also: Undertale features one of the best soundtracks of this generation.) Just play it!

Jun 1, 2020Hilarious. Gorgeous. Heart Wrenching. Just a few of the words you can use to describe UNDERTALE. Worth every penny
-

Sep 29, 2018This game has a fantastic story, simple gameplay mechanics and great art design and music. The game is very easy to pick up and very enjoyable to see through. The character's talking noises can get a little irritating but something very easy to overcome
-
Dec 18, 2018I only played this game to see if it was as good as the insane fans say it is. in the end I don't think undertale is very good as a video game, but it's more of just something you experience. so is it worth experiencing? . . . yeah, it really is.
-
Sep 18, 2018I’ve heard of this game but never played it. Now I have and it’s interesting to see why people loved it back then. I love the humor and jokes in the game it’s very entertaining and a very fun game to play when you have nothing else to do.
-
Oct 16, 2018Absolutely a must-play. A masterpiece RPG lovers and haters alike. Please give the game an actual chance before just posting a negative review.

Nov 8, 2019A true masterpiece. The music is too good to be ignored, and even though it might not be the prettiest, the story is also really good. That feeling when you complete the True Pacifist ending is indescribable. I am truly speechless. 10/10
-
Aug 23, 2019Best game of all time for sure
Fandom sucks
Masterpiece 10/10
Switch port is better for the game itself -
Dec 14, 2018Absolutely flipping amazing. All of the characters are so loveable, the story hits you right in the feels. I have nothing bad to say about the game. It's difficult at some parts but is still fun, no matter how difficult it gets.

Jan 4, 2019Now let's be honest, Undertale is a piece of art. A piece of art you cannot miss out to admire. And now that it's on the Nintendo Switch, I decided to try it out, and no regrets. Holy damn this game was fun. It has a great story, amazing soundtrack, and a unique gameplay. I'm playing Earthbound: Beginnings next.
-
Dec 30, 2018This is my favorite game right now. I love RPGs and the soundtrack is amazing. Even if the fandom might be bad it doesn't have anything to do with the game.

-
Mar 5, 2019Sure, the fanbase is toxic, but I still love this game. The music is indie game awesomeness. A lot of people complain about the simple fighting style, but I actually love it. The platforming mixed with choices was really cool to me. The story is also emotional near the end. Call me a Undertalebwarb all you want, but I am giving this a ten.

Sep 6, 2019A perfect gem of a game. Unique in look and gameplay that just needs to be experienced. The music is beyond superb and the characters are a memorable and fantastic bunch. Don’t let bias cloud your judgment and give it a go!
-
Sep 7, 2019If you're lucky enough to have avoided watching playthroughs of the game or having it spoiled some other way, I highly recommend buying and playing this game.
I consider this my favorite game of all time thanks to the amazing soundtrack and story. -
Oct 15, 2019A game that at first I thought would suck because of the graphics, but after playing the game I have once again realised that you should never judge something/someone by its cover/looks.
-
Dec 1, 2019Spectalcular game by Toby. I love the characters, the plot, the storyline, the humor, the lore. It has the whole package for a person looking for an action packed adventure that will make sure you stay interested in it. Amazing.

Dec 26, 2019What can I say? Undertale by far the best game I have ever played. The soundtrack is the best in any game, the characters lovable and funny, and the story is great, with lots of different endings, choices.
-
Jan 21, 2020This game is a masterpiece. The dialogue is top notch, the music is memorable, unique, and marvelous, everything is so incredibly clever. Undertale is one game I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone, but especially those who grew up playing RPGs. It'll make you laugh, cry, and all the emotions between. One of the best games ever made.

Feb 4, 2022Charming, exciting, thought-provoking, best OST, loveable characters, great gameplay, meaningful choices, and best of all - You don't play the game, it plays you!
-
Jan 6, 2023One of the most thoroughly enjoyable retro-style RPGs I've ever played (on the pacifist run), Undertale succeeds above its style's limitations to deliver fleshed out characters, surprisingly challenging combat systems, a great soundtrack, and shocking story twists.

May 3, 2020Complete masterpiece, everything is perfect: the gameplay, mechanics, story, characters, progression , music. Go into this game with an open mind, don't kill any enemies or bosses but still go in blind, to class yourself as a huge gamer you have to play this game.

Aug 28, 2020I started playing this game without knowing anything and it surprised me on so many levels. Characters and the soundtrack are so memorable. I had to play through this game several times to really appreciate how good it is. Go in blind and play on the switch.
It is not the best game I have ever played, but it deserves 10/10 so much. -
Jul 27, 2022This game is an outstandingly unique experience. Unbelieveable one man alone came up with the story, programmed all of it and made this legendary soundtrack.

Jul 29, 2020This game Is Perfect. I love the music, the characters design, the fight and talk system, the story and endings. It has "tutorials" at the same time as gameplay, so it doesn't loses the rithm. The humor of the game is really fun. I'm just happy that this game exists.
-
Jul 31, 2020Perfect, a music that is on my favorite, emotional moments, one of the best battle systems that I knew, characters that I never forget (except Jerry), makes you want to replay a lot of times. One of my favorite. -OH! DARLING, ARE YOU PROMOTING MY BRAND!

Jan 15, 2021Being an indie game, Undertale is famous for one reason; it’s really good. Companies like EA make terrible games every time but this is a true masterpiece. Every little bit of this game is perfection. If you don’t have this game, get it!
-
Dec 9, 2020While Undertale may not be a perfect game by any means, I love the game's approach to the RPG formula. I love battle system and the spare mechanic is plain clever. Undertale is a hilarious game with a great soundtrack. I may not have the switch version, but the added content looks like it is very fun. I'd cant recommend this enough.

Jan 20, 2021This game is the one reference we should always remember to challenge out pre-conceptions in gaming design. It is not predictable and it takes so much freedom to entertain you. A cult classic to teach us to keep questioning gaming conventions, from unjustified violence to gameplay boring limitations. A milestone on the self-awareness and maturity of the industry.
-
Jan 22, 2021Very good game. This game shows how important indie games are. A masterpiece of games.
-

Aug 12, 2021the only game that made me cry

Mar 29, 2021i would give this a 96%
This is really engaging and has humor, the music is some of the best ever, and the charters details are great! (The fan base art and other stuff though hmmmm... uhhh...) -
Mar 25, 2021Good, but I will state one design flaw
Repetitive fights
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk -
Mar 27, 2021I love this game , the characters a unique and strange and I love it. Music is a little repetitive in a water area. If you aren’t a fan of rpgs , timing games or others I wouldn’t recommend. This is not a first person shooter with heavily complex and dynamic combat. I really think you could enjoy this game but it’s less likely
-
Jun 13, 2021It is a really good game, I like everything of it, except by the final battle, because the explanation of why shulk is able to see the future and shulk gets a monado just because the power of friendship. Apart from iOther than that this the game is pretty good, the soundtracks are really beautiful.
-
Jun 22, 2021Fun characters, witty dialogue, and nostalgic sounding music, but the combat can become a little repetitive. The multiple endings give it good replay value, and the story twists in ways that you wouldn't expect. Puzzles are usually too easy to solve. I would give it 8.5 out of 10 if I could but I'll just round up to 9.

Apr 13, 2022The game does so many things that I wish more games did. Choosing between killing or being a pacifist, it has different endings with boss fights that you can never forget, and great humour. The music is also some of the best video game music of all time.
-
Mar 28, 2022Undertale was a joy of a game to beat. It has the charm of a game made by a single guy and expands on a genre of games I typically do not enjoy, turn based rpgs. Although I find some parts of the game boring and not every joke lands Undertale is a game I had lots of fun playing and was a great refresher from all the darker games I normally play.
-
Mar 13, 2022was obsessed with this game for like 2 years. still highkey stanning mettaton tho hes hot
-
Mar 31, 2022Undertale is probably the best top down rpg, a very good sense of humor with strong characters and writing, a beautiful art style, arguably one of the best video game soundtracks and a fun gameplay style that is fairly challenging.

May 8, 2022Never in my life have I played a game where I feel in love with the characters and story to the point, I can remember all their names and dialog. Don't let the graphics fool you this game with make you cry and beg more content. The music is some of the best I ever heard, and I find it fun replaying making different choices. Undertale is a must buy.

Feb 11, 2023While not being a perfect game Undertale holds a very special space in my heart, it made me appreciate a lot of things in gaming that I took for granted, the soundtrack, character writing, and environmental design to say a few. The RPG elements were handled well and the option of being able to choose genocide or pacifism was amazing along with the pixel art style.
-
Feb 22, 2023The game is amazing (after all, it is Undertale)
What’s not amazing is joycon drift… genocide run is unbeatable now. Worst version of this game but still good 8/10 -
Mar 3, 2023Undertale is, in my opinion, one of the greatest games of all time, and the greatest indie game ever (Minecraft doesn't count as it isn't an indie game anymore)
It has great characters, killer songs, i.e. Megalovania (duh), and also I love the little secret that new players will be blown away by -

Nintendo Force MagazineOct 29, 2018If you haven't played Undertale before, you will want to pick this Switch version up to experience what everyone's talking about for yourself. [Issue #36 – November/December 2018, p. 17]

Oct 25, 2018One of the most original modern JRPGs of all time, and beatable at the fraction of the time. Once you get over its primitive aesthetic, you’ll soon realise why everyone else has been so captivated by Toby Fox’s creation.
-
Sep 25, 2018Toby Fox's work is not just an anecdote: it is perfectly well-thought out. It hides something that connects directly or indirectly to anyone who has spent too much time with a gamepad in his hands.
