"Trifox absolutely nails its presentation, with cutesy mascot platforming visuals and an excellent soundtrack that really pulls on those nostalgic strings. It’s a shame then that neither the platforming nor the action are strong enough to hold everything together. It’s definitely a very promising first entry from the developers though, and certainly gives a good indication of what they may"Trifox absolutely nails its presentation, with cutesy mascot platforming visuals and an excellent soundtrack that really pulls on those nostalgic strings. Trifox is a fun action platformer that allows you to choose the type of character you play as. Although there are a couple of concerns with floaty physics and a rigid camera, but they are outweighed by fun fights, clever puzzles, and vibrant visuals.

Trifox is a tribute to the greatest 3D platformers and a game that knows its stuff just like the protagonist, smudges and fluidity on the Switch apart.

Even if it’s not very original, Trifox captures its influences so well that it carries with it a lot of residual charm. It’s not going to make you forget the games it’s borrowing from, but it’s a solid enough entry in the genre that if you miss those games, you could do a lot worse than trying it out.
