Totally Reliable Delivery Service delivers some silly fun in a package that’s a bit rough around the edges.

Totally Reliable Delivery Service has great music full of funky basslines and bumping beats, a cute and comical art style, and a lot of customization items to apply to your character and rides, but sadly the cooperative gameplay is nothing to write home about, and neither is the rest of the gameplay. I found that the combination of frustration mixed with the repetitive gameplay was not my cup of tea, and quite often, it felt like pulling teeth trying to get through it. It’s the fundamental premise of the game to struggle, but putting in a dozen attempts just to throw a package on to the bed of a truck simply doesn’t feel rewarding when you’re working towards the same goal over and over again.

It's understandable that Totally Reliable Delivery Service doesn't aim to be a typical video game, where your purpose is just to deliver goods. The island the tipsy protagonist will explore is a gargantuan playground, where players are supposed to have fun with the over-amplified physics and cumbersome way it all controls. They are supposed to. They won't.

The only thing you can safely rely on with Totally Reliable Delivery Service is that it will fail to deliver an experience worth playing and will leave you wishing you could print a postage label and return to sender.

Totally Reliable Delivery Service is a great concept with terrible execution. The idea of an open world to explore and goof around with friends is hampered by awful controls, an empty world, tedious gameplay, and a boatload of glitches. There are far better options for party games on Switch that will give you much less frustration, guaranteed. While the aim was clearly to deliver a goofy package, it seems the package never quite arrived.

Totally Reliable Delivery Service feels like a bit of a prank. It’s a game so doggedly determined to annoy you with its infuriating control scheme, shocking graphics and poor implementation of DLC, we can’t imagine anyone genuinely enjoying it. The only scenario in which this would be a fun experience would be if you played it with a group of friends locally, but even then, the intended chaos of the game's ragdoll physics feels completely anticlimactic, and instead, it just feels like an utter waste of time.

Best game I have ever played. Up there with soup as the greatest thing to ever exist.

You might not like it if your a snobby adult who only likes to play “real” games, but if your just chilling with some friends and want something stupid and really fun to play, you might want to consider this. It really is super janky, but if you can get passed that, you can find some pretty awesome glitches. You can goof off for an eternity! Expand

Totally Reliable Delivery Service. Great for some silly fun at the start but once that gets dull, trying to finish the more challengingTotally Reliable Delivery Service. Great for some silly fun at the start but once that gets dull, trying to finish the more challenging deliveries is anything but possible. The difficult mobility mechanics combined with clipping issues, random terrain spawning, and unexplainable random happenstances (vehicles clipped around/disappearing/blowing up midair) quickly turn this from a silly messy game into one that feels annoyingly poorly made and incomplete. The devs also seem to show no care into porting for the Nintendo Switch as simple things like the pop up control instructions at the beginning of the game for jump and dive (A button and B button) have the buttons swapped. Overall go into this game viewing it as a sandbox style game rather than one with objectives and you may have a better time. This is of course is just my personal experience playing on the Nintendo Switch. As for the price range, I would not recommend my friends getting the game until certain things are fixed. Expand
