Aug 13, 2020After reading the other reviews, I was a bit afraid about very bad graphics. But it's not bad at all considering the Switch's hardware.
I already loved the game play, dialouges and story on the Xbox version. Now I can play it while commuting. I love it. -
Aug 11, 2020I like RPG, good RPG and this game is better than Fallout 76. But Graphic is not good.
-
Aug 9, 2020Not bad, Graphic and Frame rate are not bad (For Switch), Role-system is good.

Jun 5, 2020This port is so poor that it shouldn't be allowed to be realese! Did not expect it to be this bad.
-
Jun 19, 2020Piss poor port. The textures and assets are not designed for switch, so they downgraded everything so switch could handle it. If a game is made on ue4, it will need to be made with switch in mind, because if not, ue4 ports will suffer. Nintendo needs sting hardware, especially since new 10-12tf consoles are coming

Jun 5, 2020Like Pillars 1 port, should not have been released and when deciding to port, this should have been done correctly (like Witcher 3). Porting for no other reason than to make money on a subpar experience speaks volumes on corporate greed.

Jun 5, 2020I played on xone x and this port looks terrible, It looks as if it had been released prematurely, without finishing polishing it.
-
Jun 5, 2020Did not expect it to be this bad. The downgrade is huge which is unacceptable as the Switch can do a lot better. It doesn't look much better than Oblivion! You'd be better off just watching some Youtuber playing one of the other versions if you're out and about. Grim!
-
Jun 7, 2020This port shouldn't exist, it's just straight up aweful. If you have any other plattform where this game is available, play that game there, the portable aspect of the switch version is in that case absolutly not worth the downgrade
-
Jun 5, 2020This is a bad port, and it needs to be fixed. Such a shame for a good PC RPG.

Jun 11, 2020I don't understand why they've actually created this port. I don't like to judge games by graphics, but in this case it is awful, you cannot even see anything which is further than 1 meter. Game is unplayable and it is really awful that I've waited for it and payed 50 dollars.

Jul 7, 2020This is one of the worst ports of a game that I've ever played and deeply regret the money spent and the time wasted discovering this.
-
Jul 20, 2020This port is very underrated for what it is, It is a decent version of the outer worlds on the go
-
Jun 6, 2020I got through the opening and it was fine then you create your character and ok its still decent then he drops you to the planet and I start playing and instantly was hit with ....wow this graphics are extremely disappointing. Stopped playing and now will just wait for a pro system and an update from obsidian because I just spent 50 bucks on this game...oh wellll

Jun 5, 2020"It's not the best chooooooice, it's Switch's choice!" This is as BROKEN as Pillars 1 Switch port, especially visuals and loading times. Was an idiot to preorder this - "evil corps," if you can't do a port right DON'T DO IT - play both on PC instead.
-
Jun 7, 2020This game looking for a garbage. Graphics 2/10. Most popular platform take this terrible port.

Jun 5, 2020The game still amazing and now you can okay it on the go. Te graphica have some downgrade on the open world sections, but nothing that breaks the experience. An amazing game for an amazing console. Love it!
-
Jul 5, 2020Quality of the graphics is very poor. It is not compromise, it is fail. I lost my money.
-
Jun 21, 2020Very poor port, I'm highly disappointed with it. It doesn't run as devs claim (1080p while docked neither and 720p in handheld and forget about steady 30 fps). Things poping in everywhere, bad textures, weird loadings in your face.. it makes the game unplayable and unjoyable. Don't waste your money with this port, play it on PS4/Xbox or pc instead.
-
Jun 29, 2020This port shows what you should not port to the Switch. Huge disappointment.

Sep 13, 2020Without exaggeration, The Outer Worlds for Nintendo Switch is one of the worst games in terms of graphics, compared to which any remaster from the PlayStation 2 looks amazing. A team created a truly terrifying port of a very good game. In order not to feel cheated, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the creation of Obsidian on PC, PS4, PS4 Pro or Xbox One X.
-
Sep 5, 2020Do not do this to yourself, if you want to play this game (which you should) go ahead and play it on any other platform than Nintendo Switch. This port was so poorly done that it made me wonder am I losing sight.
-
Nintendo Force MagazineAug 29, 2020The Outer Worlds is a must-play for fans of choice-driven sci-fi roleplaying games. That said, it's hard to recommend the Switch port. [Issue #47 – July/August 2020, p. 68]
