    I loved BOTW and really did not think they could top that game. Well I was wrong so so wrong. Tears of the Kingdom is hands down one of the best video games ever made. The sheer amount of things you can do is astonishing. None of the things you will be doing are unrewarding. It is all so fun. I have gotten lost delving into the crafting system so many times. Creating your own ANYTHING isI loved BOTW and really did not think they could top that game. Well I was wrong so so wrong. Tears of the Kingdom is hands down one of the best video games ever made. The sheer amount of things you can do is astonishing. None of the things you will be doing are unrewarding. It is all so fun. I have gotten lost delving into the crafting system so many times. Creating your own ANYTHING is like a gamers dream. Like come on have you seen the videos of other people's creation!? So cool. This game needs to be experienced by any gamer. It seriously reinvigorated my love of gaming after so many awful releases. This game runs on the Switch mind you. Like how did they do that!? Serious props to the dev team. This game is a marvel and will be remembered in the upper echelon of all games.… Expand

    I mean, BOTW was perfect... and this game is beyond. So, I don't really know what to say... Just play the game I guess. I don't agree with new game price for AAA, but for this game, it's worth it.

    Acredito que estamos diante de uma obra prima de game design, um jogo onde você simplesmente tem a liberdade de aproveitar da sua maneira, a jornada tem início, meio e fim, porém ninguém além do jogador, decide como que essa jornada será trilhada. Brilhante no quesito diversão, história tocante e apesar dos apesare, muito bonito visualmente, e pela escolha artística, dificilmenteAcredito que estamos diante de uma obra prima de game design, um jogo onde você simplesmente tem a liberdade de aproveitar da sua maneira, a jornada tem início, meio e fim, porém ninguém além do jogador, decide como que essa jornada será trilhada. Longe de ser perfeito, tem problemas de performance, algumas missões secundárias que não lhe recompensam de maneira satisfatória e a terrível mecânica de quebrar armas, não tiram o brilho dessa carta de amor aos jogadores de videogame.     Supera a TLoZ: Breath of the Wild en cada apartado manteniendo la esencia y calidad.
    El estudio encargado de desarrollar esta obra ha hecho notar el presupuesto con el que se contaba además de pulir tanto como fue posible cada detalle del mundo, podría llamarles "magos".

    Amazing. The new abilities are fun and creative and the sky level tutorial alone is huge. Of course the low IQ chuds are here to review bomb a good game because it's not a linear hallway fest that holds your hand every step of the way. I ask this question to the morons giving this masterpiece a low score, can you name ONE game that even comes close? I doubt it.

    It's everything a sequel should be.
    Breath of the was 2017's game of the year and I'm sure Tears of the kingdom will be 2023's. It feels incredible complex, fun and full of amazing details, the freedom and flexibility the player has is just one of a kind.
    This is the game of the generation and an evolution to the open world games.

    The best Open World game just got 100% better, 100% bigger, and like 1000% more vertical… don’t play TotK if you are scared of heights xD

    For everyone else, yeah of course this game is an absolute masterpiece and a great sequel. I didn’t expect Nintendo to add this much new stuff.     Endless possibilities, endless skies, the only limit is your own creativity. Fantastic exploration in the best Open World to date. The best physics system in the industry. TotKs gameplay makes other games look like a tech demo.

    Best looking Switch game. What they achieved on this small machine is mind blowing. Great image quality, great attention to detail, and probably the best use of LOD in a video game ever so you can look across the whole gigantic map all the time at a stable performance and without any noticeable pop-ins. TotK is a technical masterpiece.

    Nintendo has done it again. They made the best Open World game with BotW and now with TotK. 10/10 and it raises the bar even higher.    … Expand

    Overall it is a solid game a lot of new mechanics which i don’t wanna spoil but this Zelda game is something to behold . It will be considered an all time classic in the distant future .

    That's not to say that I don't see flaws. I do. Once again, enemy variety could be better, though it is notably improved from BotW. Dungeons are also better than BotW, but not as good as I could imagine them being. I can go on.

    However, I can do this with any of its competitors very easily. It's at or above games of its vintage and that's why it earns a 10/10.    … Expand

I would give this game 30/10 but I can't so I have to settle with 10/10 instead. ToTK is not a video game, it's THE video game.     If you liked Breath of the Wild, you'll love Tears of the Kingdom. It takes the same world and engine and adds new places to explore and new ways to interact with the environment. On top of this the dungeon experience is improved as rather than divine beasts you explore temples that take inspiration from older games while still allowing you the freedom to tackle them as you see fit.

    Nunca pensé que habría un juego que dejase mal al Zelda BOTW, pero este es el juego. El mundo abierto ha sido enriquecido con mejoras en las cuevas, santurarios, misiones, eventos, coleccionables... parándote en cada esquina a disfrutar de algo nuevo/interesante. Para mí, el punto fuerte está en la historia, la forma de contarla y el protagonismo que obtiene Zelda. Esta vez sí que podemosNunca pensé que habría un juego que dejase mal al Zelda BOTW, pero este es el juego.     It's simply perfect. This Zelda features by far the most advanced mechanics in the gaming industry, and by a long shot. Graphically, it's beautiful, and the story is one of the best in the franchise. A resounding 10/10, already becoming one of the greatest video games of all time. A GOTY that will be talked about for decades to come.

    I'll never forget how amazing it was to play Breath of The Wild for the first few times and explore that vast world. It's great to be able to feel that feeling again in a world so rich in life and detail. I loved that sequence.

I would say it was an experiment. A trial run to see if this new formula works. And it did. And the day after BotW released they started crafting a masterpiece.

    I've never been able to compare any other Zelda game to the confusion and originality I found in Zelda II until this point. And if that was all it is, I'd be cool, but man, oh man, you just gotta play it.

This is the sort of game you wait 6 years for and go into with every single expectation hanging on a thread and you're willing to risk it all because if it's dog **** man, then **** all the haters.     Game is amazing would highly recommend to anyone. Sky island is slow and feels clunky but after that the game is a great open experience.

    I enjoyed the every aspect of this game. The only observation that I would like to mention and it is not a bad thing, is that the game has so many things to do and explore that overachievers might feel overwhelmed with so much content.
    However if you relax and take it slow, the game becomes extremely pleasant and ejoyable.

    O jogo é otimo, os graficos estão bonitos em sua maior parte do tempo. Vale lembrar que é um switch e não um ps5, tem sim momentos com serrilhados horroros, mas isso é mais nas sky islands. A perfomance em si eu tive poucos problemas quando utilizei a ultrahand ou quando tinha tipo 20 inimigos na tela. Agora os puzzles estão divertidos, explorar Hyrule enquanto é tudo igual e diferente aoO jogo é otimo, os graficos estão bonitos em sua maior parte do tempo. Vale lembrar que é um switch e não um ps5, tem sim momentos com serrilhados horroros, mas isso é mais nas sky islands. A perfomance em si eu tive poucos problemas quando utilizei a ultrahand ou quando tinha tipo 20 inimigos na tela. Agora os puzzles estão divertidos, explorar Hyrule enquanto é tudo igual e diferente ao mesmo tempo é incrivel, o mapa do subsolo da uma agonia bizarra pela ambientação e a história está boa também, além das novas mecanicas mto mais complexas e abrangentes dos poderes estão boas demais. Eu não daria 10, mas como ta tendo tanto review bomb por motivo idota de gente esperando 4k e 60 gps no switch eu me vejo obrigado a equilibrar as coisas com um 10.     I wasn't sure how Nintendo would find a way to top their work in Breath of the Wild back when it came out, but I feel they have here – with years of more polish applied and refined exploration. [Issue #66 – July/August 2023, p. 71]

    The good thing is that, thanks to the limited possibilities, the creators couldn't go crazy and swing for hundreds of game miles. Instead, they created what could be called Elden Ring in a travel pack. [Issue#328]

    The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
