Espero que possamos gastar ainda mais horas nesse jogo incrível e massivo com a adição de algumas DLCs, pois esse realmente é um jogo que vale a apena ser jogado.

I played this game for more than enough and i can confidentially say that tears of the kingdom has surpassed that already „best game‘‘. Expand

The new system makes the game more like a building game, not a RPG game. The balance between stories, battles and puzzles was better in the past. I cannot really understand why would they do that in the new title.

This is a DLC priced as a new triple A game. If any other publisher did this they would be rightfully crucified.

The best open world game ever. At first it feels overwhelming, the second it feels too familiar... before you realize the potential. Also, the caves, depths and sky islands guarantee almost 3 times the landmass of BotW. 2/3 of it is completely new terrain.

This is the best game that has released in recent times, it is not just BOTW renamed, they took BOTW and somehow added a ton more content and made it better in my opinion. I don’t know why people have to hate on this absolute gem of a game.

a beautiful story with an expansive world over double the size of botw and with the new abilities to fuse materials to weapons and to build a nearly endless amount of contraptions it's a truly wonderful sequel to an already awesome zelda game. the one tiny problem that i have with the game is that i keep noticing framedrops by around 5 fps when i'm in fights

This game is genuinely phenomenal, a big improvement over the gameplay and the open world, the puzzles are great and I love exploring the world and everything it has to offer, incredibly satisfied so far, what a special and absolutely remarkable videogame (Review in Progress).

Tears of the Kingdom compared to Breath of the Wild is like the original Shrek compared to Shrek 2. TotK is magnificent, playing BOTW feels like watching the first Shrek, which is good, but there's just an outstanding second part.

My rating is 10 Shreks out of 10, and I think they will improve performance.

It not only retains the fantastic sense of exploration, but all of the new powers and gadgets allow freedom and the opportunity to experiment that goes far beyond any other open World title. The biggest question now is how can Nintendo ever top this!?

This is the most infuriating good game I've ever played, but it's going to get straight 9/10's because it's a LoZ game.

The world is expansive, and absolutely jam packed full of stuff to do, the crafting system is easy to use, but so nuanced the physics involved can only be described as some kind of black magic, how Nintendo pulled off such complexity in their engine is beyond my comprehension as a mere mortal. The plot is fairly simple but works as a motivator for exploring their world.

But this game isn't perfect, in fact, in many regards it's actually terrible. The game is locked to 30 FPS with dips into the 20's due to the switch's awful hardware. The controls are awful, as Nintendo are trying to do too much with too few buttons and have crammed the game full of items that you'll need to scroll through mid combat. Basic combat is sluggish and hasn't really been touched since the N64 days, except for the addition of parrying which isn't very useful, and flurry rush, which is super broken. The control system is so bloated, they didn't even bother to put your companion abilities on it, you need to find and speak to them mid combat to use them, and for bosses, they're often required, having multiple companions summoned makes this almost impossible, and you'll constantly be triggering them by accident when trying to perform other tasks.

Weapon durability makes its return from Breath of the Wild, and personally I still don't like it. Yes, it forces constant switching and some people may dislike that, but for me personally, I dislike it because it's ruined chest rewards. Finding new equipment isn't exciting any more, it's just another stick for me to mess around fusing and using for 5 minutes before it breaks, and speaking of fusion, whoever designed the menuing behind it needs to be fired. You acquire your weapon, equip it, open the menu, find the fusion material, hold it, close the window, drop it, open the power wheel, select fusion, target the material on the ground, press Y and it'll fuse to your current weapon. You have to repeat this for every. single. weapon, otherwise it's weak AF and will break in a handful of hits.

And it's not just weapon management that's a pain in the ass, armour upgrades are basically mandatory or everything will two shot you, from around the second temple onwards, or earlier if you kill a lot of stuff. The issue, is armour upgrading is locked behind an entirely optional and poorly signposted series of side quests and requires specific monster materials, some of which are very rare. So your options are to drop what you're doing and go farm, or never get hit. And if you thought you could just take them down before they hit you, think again, because anything in the black or silver tier is super spongey. You'll break multiple good weapons trying to take down your first silver moblin.

In conclusion, the world is amazing, the crafting is a miracle of modern video game design and the plot is serviceable, but everything in terms of performance, combat and controls really sucks. It feels like I've been given the most amazing meal to eat, but I'm struggling because they replaced the cutlery with a jackhammer.

Yes, there are many technical problems. They are much more present than in Breath of the Wild, but they rarely ruin the experience and the feeling is always that they are worth resisting with the amazing game you are playing.

Just superb. The game retains all the good stuff from Breath of the Wild, whilst also adding multiple layers (no pun intended) with brand new mechanics that can be used in so many different ways. On top of this, there’s a more present storyline with far more challenging boss encounters. Just superb

BOTW looks like a beta test compared to how much this game holds. I personally jailbroke my switch to get it early and paid the $70 3 times for friends just because it deserves it. Games are not made like this anymore and it honestly deserves every bit of money you can throw at it.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game a big mix of good and bad. First off, the combat is absolutely wrecked especially in the early game. The weakest enemies in the game will casually one-shot you while the big temple bosses can't do more than 2 hearts of damage at a time. This is a huge problem and it should be the other way around. I didn't have to redo a single temple boss yet struggle in areas with normal enemies until atleast halfway through the game. Then there's the plot... There are some emotional twists and turns near the end of the dragon tear cutscenes and when you get the master sword back, but aside from that the plot is the same as breath of the wild- the princess is gone the entire game and you have to save Hyrule castle by beating Ganon. The reused assets from Botw aren't as big of an issue as some people make them out to be but there are times when it does become very obvious, however it was nice that your horses carry over from Botw. I also thought the sheer amount of outfits and the quests for them was pretty cool, and the building system is fun as hell the screw around with once you get past the learning curve as well as the new weapon making system. All in all, not bad but not the best it could have been Expand

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
