    This game basically took what made breath of the wild good, and expanded it and made it more complex. While at the same time, somehow kept the essence of what made breath of the wild good in the first place. Genuinely amazing sequel.     A true masterpiece! I'm willing to wait 7 years between Zelda titles if Nintendo continues to put out games like this. I have no problem spending $70 on a game that will literally have me playing for hundreds of hours. It's amazing what Nintendo has been able to do with a 7 year old system. I haven't noticed many frame drops or really any performance issues that have taken away from gamingA true masterpiece! I'm willing to wait 7 years between Zelda titles if Nintendo continues to put out games like this. I have no problem spending $70 on a game that will literally have me playing for hundreds of hours.     It deserves all the hype and I'm so happy and relieved! From the mechanics, to the story, to the art, to the sound design, it's a masterpiece of a game. I'm a good ways into it now, but still the discoveries just seem endless. I'm having such an awesome time. I feel a bit overwhelmed with the shear scale of this game, but that's exactly what I was hoping for!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. the legend of zelda tears of the kingdom is the best game of the year and maybe of all time. its a amazing sequel to a game that was already amazing it just improves by a massive amount. theres so much to do ever single corner of the map its almost overwhelming at times and i switch to breath of the wild and was shocked how empty that world fells and the story is not as good as totk amazing zelda packed story.     I was honestly surprised how amazing the game was, I already knew it would be great mainly due to being a sequel to one of my favorite games ever. But in my opinion, it somehow manages to surpass breath of the wild in terms of exploration, size, and storytelling. It's interesting looking around Hyrule and seeing all of the new changes, new abilities, new characters, new monsters, and allI was honestly surprised how amazing the game was, I already knew it would be great mainly due to being a sequel to one of my favorite games ever. But in my opinion, it somehow manages to surpass breath of the wild in terms of exploration, size, and storytelling. It's interesting looking around Hyrule and seeing all of the new changes, new abilities, new characters, new monsters, and all of the new areas. I actually really do appreciate the weapon durability because it actually makes you think, really want to use that extremely good weapon on a weak enemy? Not to mention the amiibo functionality is still pretty cool and rewarding especially if you have a bunch of NFC cards or actual amiibos in your collection. Even though it is $70 instead of $60, it's well worth every single penny.… Expand

    After buying the switch i took me 3 months until I bought BOTW. The trailers gave me the impression that it just wasn't fun, but boy was i wrong. I've been playing it with the kids for the last year, each having their own user and because how great the physics system is and the puzzles I feel like when the kids are solving some of the problems they are learning useful stuff at the sameAfter buying the switch i took me 3 months until I bought BOTW.     Ainda não terminei o jogo devo ter um pouco mais de 10 horas jogadas e foi incrível a experiência, pois não percebi o tempo passar. eu simplesmente me senti compelido a explorar e descobrir mais das ilhas voadoras me pegando totalmente imerso a cada novo puzzle. É difícil determinar o que torna um jogo bom mas com certeza esse jogo tem todos os elementos.     This game is incredible. I thoroughly enjoyed BOTW but it was missing a lot of what I loved about traditional Zelda. If you hate BOTW, you will probably not like this one either as it is definitely a direct sequel. But every single complaint I had about BOTW was addressed and in some truly creative ways. This game is filled to the brim with content, if you felt BOTW was too empty, this oneThis game is incredible.     I always have a short attention span for games even for new ones. But this, i felt like i was a kid playing morning til evening. Simply one of the best games thats worth every peso. And thats rare here in a third world country

    For a game that many allege is nothing more the DLC I could not disagree more. This is an amazing follow-up to the last game in continuing the story. It has several quality of life improvements but what makes it stand out is the vast amount of area this game adds.     Fantastic game. I had over 160 hours in BOTW and this sequel absolutely feels fresh and new and exciting. I love the story and new abilities and new areas and am thrilled to keep playing. Having played Zelda games for 25 years at this point I definitely feel like they’ve added back a lot of the classic elements and produced a good balance between old and new. Their most favorite buzzword is “Glorified DLC” or “Overrated”.     Extremely addictive, this game is just so incredible. I can't understand how they make BoTW looks much worse than this game.
    You can play this for hours and you will not notice it, definitely the Game of The Year and the Game of the Decade.

    It's different, unique, but still feels like the first one. It have it's soul!
    Definitely not repetitive and absolutely worth playing!!
    The game is awesome, really, the game design innovates a lot, the plot is really well written, the new pieces of lore to the Zelda universe are awesome!
    This game is a must!

    This game improved every good aspect of botw and fixed the bad ones. The content is three times as much as in botw, which was already a masterpiece in my opinion.     I am absolutely stunned by how much fun I have had so far. The world is enormous, engrossing, densely packed, and exceedingly innovative in ways never seen in video gaming before. IMO Tear of the Kingdom is the best game ever made.

    The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
