    The game is a masterpiece! Great! When I look at the DLC of God Of War, Sony should be ashamed of themselves.
    Zelda has so much more gameplay than Sony's unimaginative games.

    The game is a masterpiece. But if you didn't like botw there's no way around it, this is more of the same but multiplied by 3 and harder (the new mechanics are less accesible to newcomers than in botw)

    GOTY sin lugar a dudas. Siempre tienes cosas que hacer y si quieres ir a un lugar ten por seguro que vas a ver más cosas que te llamen la atención y al final te acabarás perdiendo por el mapa.

Even the old locations have changed enough, so that they feel just as fresh to explore as in breath of the wild.
    The new abilities, allowing you to fuse weapons together and create wild contraptions, are absolutely amazing. Youll spend douzens of hours just building weird vehicles, from simple cars to bomber aircrafts. Fusing materials to weapons also fixes the durability issues of botw and greatly rewards fighting monster camps.
    Shrines have returnted, though they are much more fun and more challenging than in the prequel. The divine beasts have been replaced by bigger, better and way more fun dungeons including actuall bosses instead of just mini ganons.
    In my 100+ hours of playtime ive not once experienced a bug and glitch. sadly the game isnt as stable in the framerate: The already low 30fps drop decently frequently, though its not as bad as some people will make it seem. Besides, it is a miracle the genius devs managed to make the game run on the switch in the first place.
    dont let the (relatively) low user score fool you, a lot of the 5/10 reviews describe the game as 10/10
    (i guess they thought it was 5/5).
    For any switch users it is a must buy, for those who loved botw it will likely be the best game of all time. It took me over 60 hours to beat the game and 100% is looking like far over 300 hours.

    Tears of the Kingdom took what Breath of the Wild established and absolutely blew it out of the water. The world is brimming with fun and exciting things to discover, every single side quest feels as though it had been hand crafted, characters acknowledging small things that you do, such as wearing specific sets of armour, make the world feel alive and the journey from leaving the GreatTears of the Kingdom took what Breath of the Wild established and absolutely blew it out of the water. The world is brimming with fun and exciting things to discover, every single side quest feels as though it had been hand crafted, characters acknowledging small things that you do, such as wearing specific sets of armour, make the world feel alive and the journey from leaving the Great Sky Island up to the final battle is one of the most engaging, exhilarating experiences I've had in a game. It took me 100 hours to complete every shrine, do all the side quests I felt I wanted to and take down the final boss and honestly, it felt like every minute spent in this iteration of Hyrule was time well spent.
    Bosses and Dungeons this time around, when compared to what was seen in Breath of the Wild, are also a significant improvement. While still not necessarily on par with the likes of what is seen in Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess, the amount of creativity these new Dungeons allow for when traversing and the ways you have to engage with each boss differently still makes them a joy to overcome.

    Simply amazing game, so much so that it makes it's predecessor Breath of the Wild look like simply a beta in comparison, such as when comparing the Wii U to the Switch, it became abundantly clear that the switch was always made for Link and fans to go travel and explore a vast open full of mysteries and surprises. This may be Nintendo's first $70 game but it's definitely worth every pennySimply amazing game, so much so that it makes it's predecessor Breath of the Wild look like simply a beta in comparison, such as when comparing the Wii U to the Switch, it became abundantly clear that the switch was always made for Link and fans to go travel and explore a vast open full of mysteries and surprises. This may be Nintendo's first $70 game but it's definitely worth every penny if not more, if this is truly nearing the end of the switch's life cycle then this year is definitely a worthy send off. After all it began with Zelda and its gonna end with Zelda. I know it's too early to say but Tears of the Kingdom will take Game of the Year for 2023.… Expand

    Amazing follow up to BOTW. I was worried it would be like DLC but it’s more story driven and the changes and additions to the map make exploration feel fresh.

    En cuanto a la experiencia gráfica, creo que está igual que el anterior, pero a mi BOTW me parece muy muy bonito y es un diseño artístico que, si o si, hubiera dejado en una    El juego está enorme. Las posibilidades son muchísimas, los agregados al mapa base de BOTW son tantos que la exploración está a otro nivel y la historia tiene mas presencia en el juego a diferencia del anterior.

    En cuanto a la experiencia gráfica, creo que está igual que el anterior, pero a mi BOTW me parece muy muy bonito y es un diseño artístico que, si o si, hubiera dejado en una secuela. Simplemente es igual o tal vez mejor considerando los mapas del cielo y el subsuelo, y cada uno tiene sus diseños e iluminaciones distintas a las del mapa base. El rendimiento también es igual. Un rendimiento mediano, que a veces tiene sus carencias.

    Las mecánicas diferencian este juego del BOTW. Ambos juegos son muy parecidos (obviamente) pero se juegan distinto. Considero que éste juego es más difícil en su gameplay y así mismo, es mas amplio; cabe mencionar que hay ciertos elementos y mecánicas que extraño de BOTW, pero son cosas que me hacen recordar constantemente que estoy jugando otro juego y no otra vez BOTW con otro título en la portada.
    La historia desde un inicio tiene presencia. Si bien, reconozco y le adjudico un "Pero" al juego, por inconsistencias en la historia y haber recurrido a ciertas modalidades del juego anterior, tambien he de decir que la historia se siente que ocurre dentro del juego y no en el pasado como en BOTW, (que no es malo pero pudo ser mejor empleada).

    Nintendo recurrió a ciertas formas de contar la historia como lo hizo en el juego anterior, pero creo que acá supo emplearlas un poco mejor y hace que el argumento se sienta mejor contado. Te cuentan la historia de una forma mas tradicional y consistente en vez de solo cinemáticas puntuales y cinemáticas en formas de recuerdos (Por supuesto que hay cinemáticas como en el juego anterior pero son más largas, y también hay más escenas dentro del gameplay(sin voces). BOTW se caracterizó por contar la historia a través de recuerdos y los diarios de los personajes mas importantes, y este elemento permanece pero, personalmente, sentí como si el juego me contara la historia de una forma un poco más práctica y directa.

    No creo que la conclusión sea que TOTK es mejor que BOTW, realmente creo que es otra manera de jugar el zelda visto en BOTW.    … Expand

They upped their game on dungeons and gave us 4 main dungeons + 1 optional dungeon in endgame. Increased enemy types so much and varied and they actually make us use all game mechanics connected to each other.

    Some people will complain about the 1080p 30fps with dipping situation but lets face the fact that this game running on switch is like a miracle considering they made seamless transition between sky ground and depths + they made loading screens shorter. And the framedrop situation isn't because developers are lazy but they are stuck with an old console. So idk if that should actually affect the "game"s score when its not even games fault.    … Expand

The scope of this game after 20 hours is ridiculous and I haven't even touched most of the map yet. 3 layers of worlds alongside caves, dungeons and secrets is massive. Cheers to the team at Nintendo and Monolith because this is a masterpiece. The map is totally changed from Botw and the story plays an integral role in showing that.     The best game ever. Its gonna be game of the year. Shrines are better, Dungeons are better, Map is better, story is better. If you liked botw you would love this game.

    Es un juego simplemente fantástico, lograron lo que muy poca gente creía posible, superar a BOTW. Se creía que al tener el mismo mapa se iba a sentir aburrido, pero todo lo contrari, podemos ver cambios en la distintas aldeas, como Kakariko yEs un juego simplemente fantástico, lograron lo que muy poca gente creía posible, superar a BOTW. Añadieron nuevas mecánicas que parecen muy complejas a simple vista, pero que con un poco de practica eres capaz de manejarlas perfectamente. Se creía que al tener el mismo mapa se iba a sentir aburrido, pero todo lo contrari, podemos ver cambios en la distintas aldeas, como Kakariko y Hatelia, además de algunos pequeños pueblos al rededor del mapa, además que cambiaron con que rellenar el mapa, donde antes no había nada, ahora te puedes encontrar cofres, y donde antes habían cosas, las cambiaron por otras cosas aún mejores. Los nuevos santuarios si se sienten como mazmorras, arreglando uno de los pocos problemas que tenía BOTW. La integración del subsuelo y del cielo es algo simplemente increíble, pudiendo ver la potencia real de la switch y como se ve un juego 100% desarrollado para está consola… Expand

    The best game I have ever played, it’s huge and so fun, it isn’t 70€ dlc pls who plays the game and thinks that? The only time that u could not like the game is if u didn’t liked botw. I played so many hours of botw and there’s so much to do, there are so many new things and secrets in game, so I obviously recommend this game to anyone.

    The good thing is that, thanks to the limited possibilities, the creators couldn't go crazy and swing for hundreds of game miles. Instead, they created what could be called Elden Ring in a travel pack. [Issue#328]

    The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
