    A video game in its absolute purest form. Incredibly immersive with amazing exploration and sheer freedom for the player to have fun however they see fit. Without the perfect music, atmosphere, art style, and combat, this would still be one of the greatest games ever made due to its masterful approach to open-world game design. Nintendo solidifies themselves as the best once again.

    I play on par with the Zelda franchise. Fantastic game play, a very good story and with side quests that do not hinder the story, undoubtedly one of the best games of the Zelda franchise ever made. The DLC is actually pretty good and adds great hours to the game.

    스위치 최고 존엄 RPG. 이 게임을 더 좋은 기기로 플레이하면 좋겠다는 생각이 꾸준히 들었다. 상상력이 부족한 나는 상호작용 시스템을 모두 이용하지 못했으나, 다양한 상상과 아이디어를 적용할 수 있는 게임이다. 수많은 코르그나 사당의 피로는 아쉬우나 한 번쯤 해볼만한 게임은 확실하다.

    This is the best game that i've ever played, the history is good, but it could be better, but the way the story is told it's good, and the map is very big and there are many incentives to explore it.
    But the best thing is the freedom to explore the map, do the missions, the principal story or any thing that you could think to do in this game

    One of my favorite games of all-time. Weapons breaking is annoying but it forces you to try new things. The game is beautiful. so many shrines that keep you coming back. I would give it a 10 but I have to leave room for Tears of The Kingdom.

    I like massive open-world RPGs like The Witcher 3, Assasin's Creed Origins/Odyssey, etc. I just recently bought a Switch Lite just for playing this. You get to create your own adventure. There are many things that you can do after you finish the story or do everything before you finish the story. There are 120 shrines, 900 koroks and many side quests to do. You have to figure out the story slowly by collecting memories and the game ends by rescuing Zelda form the cage of calamity Ganon. The dlc is also very good. The master trials are a very good addition to the game to power the master sword up, you have to fend off enemies in many differing room increasing in difficulty starting with nothing and scavenging materials to beat the enemies. Master mode is a challenging addition for hardcore players starting over with all enemies raising in level by one. The champions ballad is a great addition to the story with great rewards you have to do the very same challenges that the champions had to do and defeat the blights again, and complete one last divine beast.… Expand

    I enjoyed how Breath of the wild "revolutionized" the series when really maybe it perfected the original vision of NES The legend of Zelda. That being said, the lack of dungeons and item progression is replaced with absolute freedom which is why BOTW is so beautifully refreshing and fun to explore. Cutscenes are great when reliving memories and finishing the Divine beasts but the power up gained make the game so easy as you get more and more overpowered. I only completed the beasts once my 1st out of 4 play throughs. Now finally the reason why Zelda games are the best is the music. As an artistic direction music was removed to enhance the experience of traversing the massive world. There are a few deepcuts to older zelda song that made my heart rejoice. One example being the Link to the past Hyrule castle theme that was later used in Windwaker for the king of hyrule's theme it was again the music that played when the king of Hyrule makes his appearance to link but there were not enough of these musical easter eggs for me. But Finally Devine beasts are not dungeons and the shrine were truly truly HOT GARBAGE!... Thank you… Expand

    Breath of the Wild is an incredible game that revolutionizes the open-world genre.It is also the culmination of the open world.I guess the only disadvantage of Breath of the Wild is that it is only on the Switch.It is really really really a pity,because if it is on the PlayStation or Xbox,we can enjoy 2k or 4k resolution.

    I don't know. Personally, the game often bores me because of the complexity or incomprehensibility. The game is a masterpiece, especially as the first exclusive, but if I had to choose between Zelda BOTW and Mario Odyssey, I chose Mario.

    Breath of the Wild is, without any doubts, one of the best gaming expriences I have ever had. Only 4 days ago I managed to get the 100% of the game and it is amazing that even today you keep discovering new things you didn't know.

    Regarding the history and how you get it: I tend to disagree with most of the people. I find this new way challenging, interesting and innovative. Along with    Breath of the Wild is, without any doubts, one of the best gaming expriences I have ever had.     i think the main reason for giving it such a high score is that you wake up with link and find the memories together. Everything feels new and realistic, so the storyline fuctions in a healthy way.

This game is a bit of a mix, some elements are a bit disappointing but here are the pros and cons:

    So, starting with the pros:

    The Gameplay is some of the best I have seen. Flying from Rito village to shield surfing down a mountain is just satisfying, the number of things to do and ways to play the game is amazing, the best I have ever seen.

    The replayability in this game is amazing, I have played through this game over and over and I am still discovering new things and finding new locations. You could play through game repeatedly and still not find so many things, The hours though...

    There are many memorable characters, the way Nintendo does this is great, from Ravioli’s Cockiness to Zelda’s Love is crazy compared to other games.

    Exploration is crazy, Breath of the Wild changed the Idea of open world, letting the player do as much of they want and getting to do finish the game when they feel like it, the world is massive compared to anything else at the time and revolutionized open world.

    The glitches in the game do not look good... But! For an open world game, it does not have many glitches compared to games like Cyberpunk, and the community only discovered the game-breaking glitches a couple of years after the game came out, if you look at them now, it does not look great but looking further it is great.

    The hours you get out of it might seem like a con to some, put a big pro to others, this game is the most addicting I have ever played, and I have hundreds of hours on it, and like I mentioned before, there is way too much to do.

    The story is good, not much compared to other Zelda games but it is overall good, the game focuses on the backstory and history of the world, being slightly barebone in the current time, but overall, solid.

    Now onto the Cons:

    The Music is horrible compared to other Zelda games, they are masterpieces, while this is just a guy playing some keyboard notes every few seconds and is boring. I really think Nintendo could have done better but they did not put the effort in.

    The combat in this game is barebones, if you use glitches this is the opposite, but the normal combat BORING. The only things you can do are normal attacks and spin attacks, that’s it. There are 3 types of weapons being Swords, Two-handed Swords, and spears, all with different fighting styles, but the combat is still boring.

    The dungeons in this game are a bit disappointing coming from Zelda, the game series is all about them. The dungeons are not Horrible, but you get 120, yes 120 bite-sized dungeons that take 5-10 minutes + 4 Big dungeons that take about 20-30 Minutes, this is disappointing for Zelda.

    My favorite franchise, game is iconic and almost perfect but actually like a 9.7 for me, the lack of Zelda style dungeons bothered me and the bosses and enemies are too similar, but it makes up with a perfect open world RPG and mechanics and physics that make you lose track of time playing it.     Incredible good game. Its a Must Play and my favourite Zelda game. The exploration is fun. I had so much fun to 100% this game. It has so much to do and to discover.

    As a Zelda fan (since I was just 3 years old) I think the legend of Zelda breath of the wild is a masterpiece in gaming fiction. I have replayed this game well over 40 times and it never got boring each time I did it. The only negative things I have to say about this game is that the final boss is a little underwhelming, but still epic. Even though tears of the kingdom has just releasedAs a Zelda fan (since I was just 3 years old) I think the legend of Zelda breath of the wild is a masterpiece in gaming fiction.     El mundo abierto que ofrece este título es increíble la cantidad de contenido es admirable. Las cinemáticas están muy bien cuidadas y tienen un excelente trabajo por parte de los actores. Musicalmente está bien y la jugabilidad/sistema de batalla es increíblemente divertido y complejo. Una obra maestra.

    Es increíble en todos sus apartados, una experiencia inolvidable, con personajes memorables, mi experiencia personal con el juego fueron 250 horas en las cuales tuve una aventura que jamás voy a olvidar, me perdí en su enorme mundo y agradezco a nintendo por haber creado está maravillosa obra de arte que es de lo mejor si no lo mejor que he jugado en mi vida.

    I've played a lot of Zelda games in the past. But none of them has gotten me so absorb than BOTW with its massive open world and all of its secrets and mechanics that truly gives this game the title of being called a masterpiece!

    Playing the game since release and it's really awesome!

    This is fascinating adventure with really captivating gameplay. And when I say "gameplay" I mean GAMEPLAY. This is one of the rarest games that have gameplay when you really play the game – not the game playing itself.

    Não tem nenhum jogo melhor para switch primeiro jogo que vou comprar no meu switch vai ser o Zelda BOTW.

    O inicio a vista da montanha muito lindo grafico bons jogo muito bom o jogo é realmente mundo aberto você vai para onde quiser.

    Where it takes mechanics from others in the industry, it improves upon them; where it introduces new ones, you slap your forehead in amazement that it hasn’t been done before. Breath of the Wild is development done right, and damn near the best game you’ll play all year.
