The Last Door was developedA lovecraftian point-and-click adventure with 8-bit graphics, spread over two "seasons" of four episodes each. The Last Door was developed using an original financial model where fans crowdsourced the production on a per-episode basis. Each episode is short, but taken together they make for a good-sized experience.

The Last Door starts off strong, with a tight first season and a cool central mystery to unravel. The second season, however, feels more tacked-on, and the final resolution feels rushed, as if the developers were looking forward to something else, and just wanted to get rid of this story.

All in all, The Last Door Complete Edition is worth buying for the first season alone, especially if you like classic adventures and lovecraftian stories.

The first season better and more interesting than the second. In the second season some puzzles are senseless. There’s is no clue/hint for some solutions , hitting invisible walls a couple of times. Had to used a guide. Becomes pretty boring fast because the story drags. There’s a lot of backtracking and becomes more tedious because your character moves very slow. I enjoyed the first season but the second one became a chore to finish. Expand
