    Gran retroceso respecto a Sonic & All Star Racing transformed y lejísimos de competirle a Mario Kart 8 y Crash Team Racing. Le falta velocidad (increíble para un juego de Sonic), personajes, contenido y carisma, cosas indispensables para el género.     Really fun game. Finally impressed for once with a sonic game since the original Sega. 1. Team racing is the most fun. Really makes this a strategy racing game. Adventure mode is endless. Never gets boring. 2. The tracks are very nicely designed. Wish there were more. 21 stock tracks compared to 32 stock tracks on Mario Kart

    Not a bad racing game. Not as good as a Mario Kart as a party game, not as good as other racing games as a car racing game... but still somewhat polished. The stages' design is pretty good, the soundtrack is good as well, the level of customization is nice, and I did enjoy the interactions between characters. At least I do not mind them talking regularly during the races. As for one thingNot a bad racing game.     Pretty good. A lot of glitches when playing online. But the game has interesting team play mechanics. Its a bit more dynamic than Mario Kart 8 but Mario Kart 8 has better controls and online.
    But Sonic Team Racing is a bit more interesting to me right now, it has flashier music and graphics, and it is just cool and different.

    First review ever so not sure how informative this will be but here we go!

    I consider myself a veteran with Sonic games but I'm pretty much a casual when it comes to kart racers. I've only ever owned one Mario Kart game while playing a fair bit on friends' games and a bit of Crash Team Racing as a kid, however I have been having a blast with this game so far. The first thing that hit me    First review ever so not sure how informative this will be but here we go!

    I consider myself a veteran with Sonic games but I'm pretty much a casual when it comes to kart racers. I've only ever owned one Mario Kart game while playing a fair bit on friends' games and a bit of Crash Team Racing as a kid, however I have been having a blast with this game so far.

    The first thing that hit me was just how amazing the soundtrack for this game is. Nothing new for a Sonic game, I know, but these remixes are just top notch.

    As for the visuals, I'm not sure how they are on other platforms, but the game looks stunning on the Switch, and the framerate seems pretty consistent so far.

    The gameplay seems like your run of the mill kart racer, but the teamwork mechanics help make the game feel fresh. I wasn't sure about it when watching trailers, but I've been pleasantly surprised so far.

    Some minor gripes I've had with the game so far inlude the story cutscenes. Well, not the cutscenes themselves, just how you go about viewing them.

    The game gives you two different buttons to select a race in story mode: one to start the race with the cutscene; and one to start the race while skipping the cutscene. This was a pretty great idea as many people do not care for story in Sonic games and this allows them to jump right into the action. Great idea, right? Not quite.

    For some reason, they mapped the "skip cutscene" button to A, which is the main button for selecting things on a menu in possibly every game on the Switch. I fall in the camp of people who actively want to watch the cutscenes but I've missed the vast majority of them by pressing A due to muscle memory. I know I can just select the race again to view the cutscenes I've missed, but by the time I usually realise I've skipped one, I've finished the mission. It just kind of feels like Sonic Team actually wanted to hide their own story because they had such little faith in it.

    Additionally, some of the missions just seem downright ridiculous with the difficulty spike. I'm referring specifically to the Daredevil and Ring challenges. Maybe I just suck at kart racers but it seems like this game demands perfection without a single misstep to achieve even a silver medal! These are, however, minor nitpicks. If you're a fan of kart racers and/or Sonic, then you should really consider picking this up, especially since it's released at a budget price.

    The game gets a 9/10 from me so far and I hope this is a sign of good things to come for the blue blur!    … Expand

    Team Sonic Racing is a great racing game with a very good cast of characters, stages, and music for me the game is a competitor for Mario Kart 8 I will come back to this game more often than Mario Kart 8 that is just a personal thing but I like Sonic more than Mario so I love this game the gameplay is fun and I like the team system also you can play it solo so that is a plus

    A serious competitor to Mario Kart 8. A must have for owners of the Nintendo Switch. A lot of players online! Very fun for all the family!

    Nintendo, por favor no puedes arruinar la versión de este juego en tu consola por la avaricia de los cartuchos. Este juego es fantástico, pero quitarle la escena introductoria e impedir jugar con amigos es uno de los peores errores que pudiste haber cometido al condicionar a Sega. Que todos pagamos lo mismo para recibir lo mismo en contenido.

    I bought Team Sonic Racing for Switch and now I regret it :(
    I knew the frame rate for the game on Switch was bad (30fps) and I wasn't going to buy it. But some reviews were saying it's a great game, you won't notice the frame rate issue after a while, etc etc.
    Yeah well, it plays like a PC with an inadequate video card. The lack of decent frame rate makes the game feel laggy or    I bought Team Sonic Racing for Switch and now I regret it :(

    It'd be nice if they re-released Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed for Switch. When it was originally on Wii U, it was apparently 30fps so it got bad reviews. But on other consoles and on PC it ran beautifully. I'm sure the Switch can now handle that game at 60fps.    … Expand

    This game would easily warrant an 8/10 if it weren't for the lazy graphical port on the switch and the glitches in the Garage mode. As it stands the glitches ruin the experience completely - they need to be fixed. With a smooth experience this game would be great.

    Horrible performance, yes is ''stable'' at 30 fps but for a racing game you need 60 fps to take a look at Mario Kart 8, it runs at a steady 60fps no matter what, this is a poor attempt of a racing game.

    I didn't expect much but it's actually very addictive. What I was looking for was a game to veg out on and not take too seriously as I have plenty of games. I just spent the entire weekend playing it.

    The courses (and songs that accompany them) are all extremely well designed, taking perfect advantage of the game's team mechanics, as well as the three different varieties of racers.

    Speaking of the game's team mechanics, they are truly what makes this game stand out among other kart racers. All of these additions make the game a lot more challenging and strategic, though their presence does make racing without them (which is possible in the game) feel dull in comparison. But honestly, when playing with a group of friends, i'd prefer to play this over Mariokart (not to discredit Mariokart. It's awesome :D )

    I've seen many other reviewers complain about the game's graphical downgrade on the Switch, but this is simply because the Switch's hardware is not on par with that of other current-generation consoles. But working with what they had on the Switch, this is a great effort on SEGA's part, and doesn't affect the gameplay in the slightest. If you'd prefer better graphics and a higher frame-rate to portability, just get the game on any of the other platforms for which it's available.

    The adventure mode is challenging and enjoyable all the way through. Though the story isn't very deep, the interactions between characters are downright hilarious.

    All in all, I give this game an 8/10. Not perfect, but worth your money all the same if you're a fan of Sonic, Kart Racers, or both!    … Expand

Malgré nos craintes initiales lors de l’annonce du jeu, en choisissant cette fois-ci de ne mettre sur le circuit que les personnages de la licence Sonic, les développeurs n’ont pas mis laFidèle à ce qu’il nous a proposé précédemment en s’appropriant les licences de Sega, le studio Sumo Digital a encore fait du très bon travail et commence à avoir une belle expertise dans son domaine. Malgré nos craintes initiales lors de l’annonce du jeu, en choisissant cette fois-ci de ne mettre sur le circuit que les personnages de la licence Sonic, les développeurs n’ont pas mis la marche arrière, bien au contraire. Le changement significatif de gameplay, par la mise en place d’une course en équipe, change clairement la donne et permet à Team Sonic Racing de se démarquer de la concurrence et lui évitera une comparaison trop écrasante avec Mario Kart 8. Les deux jeux ne jouent pas dans la même catégorie et en fin de compte le jeu de Kart de Sega a bien fait de prendre un virage complètement différend. Un très bon jeu de kart, avec un mode histoire étonnant, et une réalisation technique à la hauteur. Une bonne surprise!… Expand

    Es gibt bessere Rennspiele mit dem blauen Igel, die Strecken sind breitbeinig, jeder möchte als Erster kommen, das Team gewinnt, schlussendlich ist man auf sich gestellt und später glücklich. Gut umgesetzt.

    Ring challenges and star challenges are sooooo annoying. Glitches were paramount to me from the start, and the story is cookie-cutter lame and uninspired. With that being said, I love the racing gameplay and team system. Is it on par with Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing? Not one bit.

    The game is fine and I love that little by little all the Sonic characters are coming back to be playable but it is a pity that the online play is literally dead. I only was able to successfully matchmaking a couple of time since I got the game two months ago.

    This game is pretty good cart racer the story is nothing much but it still has a few changes though out of it like the elimination race personally on kart racers I love elimination races just wish it was not just on story mode. Finally of course who can't forget the team mechanic as this is what it sets apart from the other racers as instead of finishing first your self you have to finish in good places as a team e.g you came first but your team mates came last you lose. This is a good mechanic most of the time but if you have AI team mates it can be a night mare but luckily you can play multiplayer in story mode. There is a bunch more features with this as you can go in your team mates slip stream pass item boxes (if you pass item boxes you may get 3 lots of that item and they may not be the same one you gave away unless it is an invincibility) and skim boost your team mates. These thing all contribute to your team ultimate metier once charged up you can do a team ultimate boost. When you are using the ultimate boost you can bump into your opponents to make your boost last longer. You can also get boost from boost wisps, drifting (drift longer for a bigger boost), and stunts (do more tricks to get the maximum boost only bother doing 3 as there are only 3 levels of boost). Overall I like this game allot I would recommend this.… Expand

This gameplay style made the game a lot more enjoyable, and with the allstar cast of Sonic composers has made this soundtrack a true gem.

However, the story mode is weak, and some levels are annoying, especially the daredevil ones (curse you, mandatory 6-3). I also find the unlock system completely underwhelming, since the cost of the mod pod is extremely low, and you can easily add two more "spins" by playing a race. Overall, this is a good game, but only Sonic or racing fans would enjoy it.… Expand

    Team Sonic Racing (Switch Version) is the best version with a very good cast of characters, stages, and music. For me the game is a competitor for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It is a good game compared to Sonic And Sega All-Stars Racing.

    The only thing that could better about this game, are the controls, they are a bit slippery (oh and espio and charmy bee aren't playable). However they are less slippery than mario kart 8 deluxes controls. Apart from that, everything from the tracks to the racers to the soundtrack is amazing! There isn't a bad track or music track in this game.

    It’s still a good game on the switch, but has minor problems. The game runs at 30fps although Mario Kart 8 Deluxe goes up to 60, and this version lacks the opening cutscene. This game is decent overall, but I recommend the PS4, PC and Xbox One ports over this. If this switch is your only console, stick with this.
