Ninty Fresh MagazineOct 22, 2021Crazy Taxi, it ain’t. It may look the part, but with some shoddy mechanics and a charmless soundtrack, Taxi Chaos is anything but a wild ride. [Issue #3, p. 65)

Mar 10, 2021The effort of someone who does something with good intention must always be positively valued, especially if their goal is to bring to this world a spiritual successor to the legendary Crazy Taxi. However, Taxi Chaos still has a long way to go with patches and updates to reach its right destination.

Jan 10, 2022The danger of playing with nostalgia and doing it injustice means that the high bar that was set before it is the bare minimum that needs to be achieved to be even deemed worthwhile. There are a lot of call backs to Crazy Taxi in this review and that is due to the derivative nature that Taxi Chaos borrows its concept from. The sub-par graphics, generic map, bland soundtrack and lack of new ideas or the ability to even replicate what came before it has destined Taxi Chaos to the copycats of shame bin. If, even after reading this review there is still some urge to play Taxi Chaos then it is highly recommended to go and track down a copy of Crazy Taxi and Crazy Taxi 2 and play these instead.

Mar 29, 2021Overall for £30, Taxi Chaos is too limiting to really recommend picking at the minute. Even on sale I could not recommend it unless you are a mega fan of arcade taxi games. The framework is there for a good game and it unfortunately feels incomplete in its current state.

Mar 3, 2021Taxi Chaos wears its inspiration on its full-print shirt's sleeve, but lacks the understanding of what made said inspiration so compelling. There's almost nothing of worth here: A poor imitation of a game that's literally free these days.

Feb 26, 2021It's not perfect yet but if you remember it's an indie game, it can be exactly what you are looking for.
