    Honestly, most of the game is great, but there are a few absolutely BAFFLING decisions that make it so annoying for me. As an example, if you put unskippable cutscenes in your game, that you have to watch each time you lose against the boss, **** you and your game. Wouldn't be as bass if boss designs were less obtuse, especially the last one. There are a few obvious issues in what isHonestly, most of the game is great, but there are a few absolutely BAFFLING decisions that make it so annoying for me.     Sydney Hunter and the Curse of the Mayan has great playability, keeping things challenging and allowing you to re-challenge main bosses. It’s just a few glitches that hinder the gameplay and subtract from the experience, yet it still remains extraordinarily fun.

    Retro-inspired 2D platformers simply don't get much better than Sydney Hunter so grab your whip and get ready for a great time.

    While the adventure held my attention for a little while, eventually the backtracking and repetition wore me down. Those looking for a demanding action-platformer with Metroidvania elements may find buried treasure here. Others are just as likely to find Sydney Hunter full of fool’s gold.
