Mar 6, 2019A great -but short- homage to the old shoot'em up classic that is as hard as it is satisfying.

Feb 28, 2019Super Hydorah is a fitting tribute to 16-bit era 2D shoot'em ups. Obviously, this implies a sharp difficulty level, which can become frustrating at certain moments but the game's variety when it comes to weapons and routes is a very attractive factor. What Super Hydorah amounts to is this is a marvelous 2D shooter and a very nice surprise on the Nintendo Switch catalogue.

Feb 19, 2019Overall, Super Hydorah takes the classic shmup mold and bolts on its own unique elements to produce something new and bold. Definitely give it some consideration the next time you’re strolling through the eShop.
