    I mean, if you want a simple multiplayer game based on this franchise, this is a good choice, but the campaign and overall the single player mode is lack of something special. Buy it if you have a lot of friends to play with

    This game is...fine and that's it. I just get frustrated with the game, I never find a good reason to go back to it. I think the story is...ok...and so is everything else, but this game is fine to a solid MEH.

    It's not the best bomberman, but is really good to play the story and the battle mode, very fun, but the game have some problems.
    I like to play Bomberman 3D, but, sometimes the scenario and the player colors are merged, this could be confused. Another bad thing is the mega boss on each world, you don't know when it will be defeat.

    Fun game, especially if you can find friends to play it with. But it's way too expensive and a bit light on content. I'd stay away if you're not a huge Bomberman fan. Try Super Bomberman R Online instead.

    Not sure why so many critics have rated this game so low as I think the game looks and plays good, it will certainly be fun at Christmas parties! Yeah, there's not much involved in dropping bombs next to other players but it still seems fun without being frustrating or boring like some multi-player games. Recommended.

    Bomberman is at its best with visual clarity and snappy controls. Super Bomberman R delivers neither of those. Sometimes "better" graphics are detrimental to gameplay, as is the case for this game. The character variety is nice, but Bomberman with wonky controls just isn't enjoyable.

    Slow, Confusing levels, bad camera views, terrible controls, Cheap looking. It has nothing to do with how a bomberman game should look.

    Pretty good game for the return of Bomberman after all this time. Apparently there's problems with multiplayer, but the online appears to be dead so I wouldn't know. The local co-op and single player modes are great however, and the inclusion of other Konami characters as skins is amazing.

By no means is it a terrible game, the standard battle mode played with friends or computers is actually quite entertaining by itself, but every other aspect of the game falls hopelessly flat. Did I tell you this game was by Konami? You can see the puzzle pieces fitting together now, can't you? The items in the shop are way too expensive, itsSuper Bomberman R is a complete and utter mess. Normal play sessions for me consist of grinding for 10 minutes, buying stuff from the shop, then leaving the game to collect dust.     i'm seriously disappointed on this game, the game had a decent potential, but man is when you really play the game pretty dumb, and nothing of expected, it was so boring and really lacked a strategy to the game itself, you just had to go random without a strategy, an easy way to win the game, yet with the storyline being kinda horrible too.

    A blast from the past! A good old Bomberman in its glory. A fantastic game if you enjoy playing with your friends in a co-op. I didn't enjoy the story a lot and the single-player mode was to short in my opinion, but it was still fun to play. A wide variety of enemies, nice boss battles will not disappoint you.

    Multiplayer is pretty much the only time I play even wgen I don't have a lot o' stuff unlocked. The reason for that bein' that tryin' to unlock things is hellishly slow, so slow that I'm 99.9% sure that Konami planned microtransactions for this game but said **** it!" for whatever reason. While it's a good thing they ain't here, it annoys me that they didn't adjust the amount of coins you get even if it was through an update.    … Expand

Esto es porque NO tiene comunidad (y la poca que tenía murió), ya que no es competitivo como viejos Bomberman, no tiene esa chispa del Mega Bomberman / Bomberman '94, incluso ni el de NES. Y eso que le he intentado dar varias oportunidades... No hay con que darle, no invita a jugar para nada.
    Por estas cosas duele el hecho de que Nintendo haya sacado la Consola Virtual, ya que ahí teníamos el Bomberman '94. Es una pena.

    Un clásico que vuelve de las cenizas para traernos una nueva experiencia de multiplayer local con el alma de uno de los grandes de la época de 8 y 16 bits. Si bien no es una experiencia innovadora, puede ser algo diferente a lo qué darle la oportunidad.

    Lo Bueno: - Multijugador local y modo cooperativo. - Si te encanta Bomberman, es perfecto para ti.     It's great to see Konami has revived one of the all-time great series it acquired when it took over Hudson Soft several years ago. Super Bomberman R is a blast, whether played with friends or in its solo campaign mode. The goofy voice acting and dialogue is endearing in its own way, and the action is pure, classic Bomberman. The slightly isometric point of view takes a little getting usedIt's great to see Konami has revived one of the all-time great series it acquired when it took over Hudson Soft several years ago. Super Bomberman R is a blast, whether played with friends or in its solo campaign mode. The goofy voice acting and dialogue is endearing in its own way, and the action is pure, classic Bomberman.     For me, Super Bomberman R seems like a boring, stale game. For me its biggest flop was how little content there is. If you're a long-running Bomberman fan, you might like this but for someone who's the series first game was this, it didn't interest me at all.

    I'd have to rate this game on what it's for, multiplayer. Through local multiplayer, 4 can play at once which can be very hectic, along with revenge carts and the multiple items, however, the items can be somehwhat annoying as I can't fully cystomize what items I want and don't want, The single players is decntly dry and shallow. Therefore I only reccomend this game to people with friendsI'd have to rate this game on what it's for, multiplayer.     I enjoyed Bomberman's return. The gameplay is still solid, the multiplayer is fun and what they were going for in the story is enjoyable. Of course the english voice acting could be better (the weakest being the voices of White, Red, Yellow and Plasma bomber) and the online mode is laggy as hell to work properly. I can understand some be against this being full price as it feel more of aI enjoyed Bomberman's return. The gameplay is still solid, the multiplayer is fun and what they were going for in the story is enjoyable. Of course the english voice acting could be better (the weakest being the voices of White, Red, Yellow and Plasma bomber) and the online mode is laggy as hell to work properly.     Super Bomberman R is a puzzle game featuring a 3 hour long story mode and not much else…
    The game tells the story of the bombermen and ladies setting out to stop black hole and the 5 Dastardly bombers... you can play the game on multiple difficulty settings... The campaign takes places across 5 different worlds, each dedicated to one of the    Super Bomberman R there’s not much here
    Super Bomberman R is a puzzle game featuring a 3 hour long story mode and not much else…
    The game tells the story of the bombermen and ladies setting out to stop black hole and the 5 Dastardly bombers...
    you can play the game on multiple difficulty settings...
    The campaign takes places across 5 different worlds, each dedicated to one of the dastardly bombers... here you’ll be clearing challenges to work your way to the boss of that world...
    These challenges can vary from defeat all of the enemies, to find hidden keys, lead the stranded bombers to safety, and throw switches...
    And none of this is really challenging or engaging…
    it’s all sortve mindless…
    you start by choosing your character at the start of a chapter and you just drop bombs... these bombs will destroy objects in your place as well as take out enemies, you’ll find pickups to increase your speed for example or the amount of bombs you’re able to carry and drop…
    but you use these rules of bomb dropping and enemy slaying to complete these tasks…
    and none of the levels really get too challenging to solve or even though provoking.. There are a few... especially in the ice levels towards the end... but they are far too few and far in between... I would’ve liked having to use my brain more like I did in these ice levels as I’m sliding around like the caves in a Pokémon game… but for the most part all 3 hours of this game really remains the same... so it for the most part just feels like you’re going through the motions...
    it is possible to die, and you will a lot from blowing yourself up or enemies getting you, but you are able to spend gems to continue… gems earned both from completing chapters as well as in multiplayer…
    and at the end of these chapters there is again a boss battle.. These are probably the best moments of the game where you’re trying to trap your opponent and hit them bit ha bomb to then go against them in their final form to unlock the next stage…. These moments before the final show down do offer a bit of challenge and are better than the boss battle show downs themselves...
    Outside of the campaign there is a multiplayer mode where you’re facing 4 opponents to try and take each other out... be the last bomber standing…
    you can play locally as well as online, but I found it to be impossible to find enough players online to get any matches either ranked or unranked.. So unfortunately bomber man doesn’t realistically go beyond its 3 hour campaign which is a shame... sure you can grind for cash to unlock the many characters... but for what?
    Online is a ghost town.

    Fly-proof Bomberman's gameplay never grows old. Even this time it works out well, despite the occasional stumbles over confusing arenas. The biggest issue of the game is its outrageous price.
