Feb 18, 2020Terrible control, bad button assignment.
No ai.
Cannot overwrite backups so we need to delete them permanently as there can only be 5 pieces.
Hud and menu is in 4: 3 ratio.
The essence of the switch version is pull down.
Not worth a cent. It is no coincidence that there is no demo.
Highly not recommended.
Nintendo for gamers, huh?
Hahahahahahaha.....
Shame. -
Dec 21, 2019This is the most overrated game i have ever played. The characters are **** and so is the story. The controls is some of the worst i have experienst in a long time. And the levels are as boring as it gets, and totally unfair and hard. **** THIS GAME!!!!!!!

Feb 20, 2022No health packs anywhere. Even on normal difficulty, it’s terrible. No checkpoint. Rubbish level design. Doesn’t tell you anything about what to do. Running around aimlessly, just to realise you never pressed a switch a few rooms before because it blended in to the surroundings. Terrible aiming. Nothing like Jedi Academy. Worst sequel I’ve ever played. Didn’t finish, never will.

Feb 24, 2020Wasted money. Gamepad control is bad. The graphics as if it were uglier than the old pc version. The 16: 9 aspect ratio is fake. The save system is a sh(t

Jun 30, 2022actually a good game, but the port is just broken. load save and delete is a horror that was never leased, and the controller assignment is a joke. to cry.

Apr 1, 2020I google this game at first, people seem to give it a pretty good rate, but it turns out to be one of the most disappointing games I ever played on switch. The control is horrible, no way for you amid and shoot any enemy twice, it just makes me feel that the developers have never tried their work on switch.

Nintendo Force MagazineMay 1, 2020This game may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. [Issue #46 – May/June 2020, p. 27]

Jan 30, 2020A flawed port that struggles to overcome mediocrity in its implementation, and that suffers from a lack of multiplayer, leads to a less than stellar experience. Star Wars Jedi Outcast is purely saved by its solid level design, and fan service. There are probably better options if you want a good TV experience, but nothing can beat this port's portable experience, which is in all honestly its saving grace. Recommended for fans looking to take it on holiday, and a near miss for fans looking for a Star Wars title worthy of being played in the big screen.

Dec 17, 2019At its core, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast remains a good title. Get past the shooting, and you're rewarded with a ton of Force powers and lightsaber combat that remains at the top of its field to this day. However, the port job isn't up to snuff, as it lacks some slight auto-aim and lock-on to make the experience more user-friendly for console players, so the opening levels are a real chore to get through even if you can handle the outdated textures and adherence to the old way of doing puzzles. Not only is it recommended to go with the PC release for this title, but it also gives one pause about how the eventual port job of Jedi Academy will turn out.
