    I love Splatoon 2. The gameplay's great, there's almost too much content in the game. The graphics have improved so much from the first. The game's very balanced and polished. Although having Salmon Run available at all times would be great. Now I do see why they did it, it would still be nice to have it available at all times

    This is a great example of a sequel done right. Splatoon 2 takes almost everything wrong with the first game for the Wii U, throws it out the window, and creates an enjoyable experience. The shooting feels more precise than it did in the first game, which is definitely a feat considering how great it felt in that game. And the brand new Salmon Run mode is a fun co-op mode that is enjoyable whether you're playing with strangers or your friends. But not everything has been fixed. I still am bothered by the lack of a way to pick what mode you want to play, as I certainly like Tower Control and Rainmaker over Splat Zones, making it all the more disappointing when I find out that's the mode being played currently. Also, the fact that Salmon Run isn't available at all times is a very questionable decision. And since they actually decided to include it in this game, I have to mention the abysmal voice chat system. It didn't bother me that the first game lacked this, but Nintendo's attempt at it is pathetic. But none of these issues significantly hampered my playtime with Splatoon 2, as it was still an awesome experience, and definitely a worthwhile addition to anyone's Switch library.… Expand

The campaign is fun but gets slightly harder as you progress. I was surprised to see who the final boss was, Callie from the first Splatoon with Octavio (who I expected). If I actually looked at the box and the reversible cover, I would have known that it would be Callie.… Expand

    The best 3rd person shooter out there... All of the weapen's in the game are balanced, and the developers are actually still UPDATING the game with new maps and weapen's! I'm still playing the crap out of this game with friends too!

    Si te gusto la primera entrega sin duda te recomiendo adquirirlo, tiene bastantes mejoras, es mas equilibrado y esta en constante actualización de contenido. Si no jugaste a la pre-cuela y te llama la atención el juego también te lo recomiendo.

    Tiene una historia bastante mediocre en mi opinion, pero esta se centra mas en aprender las mecanicas basicas del juego, es un tipo de tutorial. Pero a diferencia del primer titulo, en este modo campaña aprenderas a usar todas las armas basicas, asi que es bastante mas util.
    Así que si dispones de una conexión a internet y te atrae el juego te recomiendo adquirirlo, al principio te puede costar jugarlo así que es mejor que empieces por la campaña y cuando la termines te puedes ir directo al online, allí aprenderás por tu cuenta.    … Expand

    Super fun, colourful, Multiplayer TPS. Characters are lovable, events are cute, it's highly maintained. Always new weapons and ne maps. The Online is so much fun and playing in ranked battle is a blast. Get a couple of friends and get a league together, and you'll be going for a long time :D

Splatoon 2 has amazing and fluid visuals and just like in the first game the game play is very addicting and the contentious adding of new weapons the game offers a wide variety of play styles . The controls are amazing allowing you to switch from sticks to motion or vice9/10 One of the best 3rd person shooters I've ever played . I played the original and put in over 2,000 hrs . Splatoon 2 has amazing and fluid visuals and just like in the first game the game play is very addicting and the contentious adding of new weapons the game offers a wide variety of play styles . The controls are amazing allowing you to switch from sticks to motion or vice versa I personally prefer motion. Splatoon 2's single player is a great improvement over the original allowing you to play with all base weapons adding lots of replay value the levels are even more creative than last time. Splatoon 2 in total has 8 modes Turf war the core of the game with it's objective being to cover the ground in ink in 3 mins time , Rainmaker take the giant goldfish weapon to the enemies spawn, Tower control ride the tower by standing on it and taking it to the enemies spawn , Splat zones hold a specific area for 100 seconds, Clam blitz get a super clam to destroy the enemies clam basket by filling it with clams , Salmon Run a NEW mode where you team up with 3 other people (or friends) and survive 3 waves of salmon , League is ranked with friends (Includes Clam blitz, Rainmaker,Tower and zones. The app is mediocre I wouldn't use voice chat on it. The game also provides local multiplayer but each player needs their own switch to do so a bit disappointing . But otherwise a fantastic game from Nintendo… Expand

    Single player modus is okay and the multiplayer modus is SO MUCH FUN. It is a great experience!! The only thing I don’t like about it is that you have to wait a long time before the match starts!

    I think the game is much fun and everyone who enjoyed the first one for a single second should get it. It’s really creative and I enjoy the style of the game very much. It is not worth a ten because the many network errors, unskippable and even longer then the first one intro screen and it’s not very different from the first splatoon.

    At launch, this incredibly creative and unique shooter(which was pretty much an upgraded port of the original) was lacking on a lot of things to do and basic features, but still had solid gameplay mechanics, fun world and characters and was fun and well-designed.     -Gran cantidad de armas e items
    -Los Splatfest son muy divertidos y originales
    -Quizás se me quedan un poco cortos los modos de juego que hay, ya que hay pocos a mi parecer.

    Excellent game. Even though it is basically just like the first Splatoon, this game is still great. Hours and hours of fun. I have no complaints regarding this game. I am only a level 30 and there are level 99 people playing. I never get tired of this game. This is how a "shooter" should be, just fun without hearing 12 year olds screaming in my ear or trying to insult me LOL.

    Some problems i encountered was trying to play with friends, in turf war you cant decide to play with or against some of your friends and the lobby is always the same, which can be annoying since the players you encounter are always the same.     The salmon run mode is excellent. It would be great if another mode like this one was added.
    The singleplayer mode is fun but nothing special, a little short but fun.
    The weapons and customization are amazing, the arsenal is huge and so is the clothing collection. Furthermore, there are addictions to the game every week or so, which makes, to me one of the best games on the switch.
    I think it is a must have game for the switch even for people wanting to play this alone or just casually.    … Expand

    nintendo's new IP did it again, folks, the multiplayer can be casual, fun, competitive, COOP mode Salmon run is tons of fun with friends, and singleplayer is really entertaining, the SplatFests, events that don't happen anymore were amazing.

    Splatoon 2 is a shining example of a sequel to a shooter game, taking the formula of the original and refining it to a T. The vast customization options and the general difficulty makes this perfect for anyone to get into, from a kid to hardcore player. If you didn't get this game when the Wii U... happened, then now's your chance, you do not want to miss out on this unique shooter.

    Splatoon 2 is a fun, creative 3rd Person Shooter which adds on and improves from the original game. With a fun campaign that has an epic end boss battle, to a new impressive mode - Salmon Run, to classic Turf War online, this game has content everywhere and is just plain fun. This game is a brilliant game and a necessity if you own a Nintendo Switch.

    Splatoon 2 is perfect for anybody that liked the first Splatoon. The only problem with this game is that the Splatfest team names are worse than in the first Splatoon. On the good side, this game has one of the best single player modes. If only we had sensible Splatfest teams, this would've been a 10.

    Expands on the original Wii U game in every way with new maps, weapons, single-player missions, and phenomenal music. Wireless can be a bit fickle, but more often than not it's a high quality experience. A must have for any switch owner.

    I never played the first Splatoon game but I absolutely love Splatoon 2. The only reason I give it a 9 instead of a 10 is that the offline single player mode is short and underwhelming and you have to purchase the Nintendo online subscription to play the rest of the game. However, the overall price is definitely worth it. Salmon run is amazing, the league battles are fun, and there isI never played the first Splatoon game but I absolutely love Splatoon 2.     First of all, I'm not a fan of the Splatoon series nor do I have much playtime, yet I enjoyed the time playing Splatoon 2. If you like the gamemodes, and short matches you are going to have a great time. Splatoon 2 in itself is a great shooter with nice mechanics making it special.

Este es un juego para disfrutar online con amigos o en solitario y creo que es la mejor forma de que jugadores nuevos y con poca experiencia en jugar por internet incursionen en el online sin sentirse frustrados. ¿Recomiendo Splatoon 2? ¡¡Sin duda!!

    An original, fun third person shooter that is always fun to dip into every now and again.

    The only thing that stops me playing it more often is the amount of time it takes scrolling through conversations before being able to play .

    That said, it is always easy to find a match and I'm glad I own it.

    Its splatoon 1 but better. Everything from splatoon 1 is here but its better. The graphics are better and the subs and weapons are more complex. Ranked modes are more fun and more polished. The netcode could be better, people are bouncing all over place.

    I consider this game more of a port with some new stuff. but it's fair since when Splatoon 1 came out the Wii U was already a dead console. I have had a lot of fun with this game, though leveling up is slow but still rewarding. I also really enjoyed the new mode, Salmon Run. If you have a Switch you should get this game.

    I gave this game a 9 and not a ten because there is actually technically nothing wrong with the game it has great graphics fun a multiplayer a story mode which is great for getting into the game, the weapon and clothing options/customization are some of the best i have seen in any game and salmon run is just an amazing addition. Having said that my main complaints are the multiplayer matchmaking system as of now Feb 29 2020 24 multiplayer maps which is more than enough but the system of choosing stages is flawed where in you will randomly get selected one of two stages which are randomly generated over 2 hours which means everyday your favorite stage will be on once but that does not mean you will get to play it as when it is on you could be at school, work or literally anything i think they should do the same stage selection as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe where every race you will get 3 new stages to chose from and if you do not like them you can always choose random this is good because if you do not like the 2 stages that have been chosen you basically cant play for 2 hours which is just Nintendo hurting its own player count also same with the ranked modes which there are 4 which you should just be able to choose your preferred mode and also there is no reason that salmon run should be open 24/7. There are also many things i would add that would make this game one of the best but that is not the fault of the game it is just something i would add to the next one.… Expand

    -You always have to watch an unskippable cutscene each time you start the game which just gets annoying.
    -Playing with friends is unnecessarily complicated. You have to join a friend's current game and wait for a free slot. Or everyone has to reach Level 10 and then rank B- to create a team. Or you play offline where each player needs their own console and game.
    -When you play the co-op missions you get random weapons instead of being able to choose one which makes them more frustrating than they need to be.
    -Getting ability chunks and Super Sea Snails takes much longer without Splatfests and those stopped happening regularly in July of last year. This makes progression much slower.
    That said, I still love playing it. The graphics are great, the music is super catchy and the levels are well designed. If there ever will be a Splatoon 3, I hope it's just more of this without the flaws.    … Expand

    Splatoon 2 is such a damn good game that literally no one talks about and I won't stand for it any longer. It's totally a kids game but it's so inventive and creative and fun and everything works so well. The replayability isn't there for me because of no achievements/trophies but I had an absolute blast running through this game once and dabbling with the multi player.     8,7 Uno de los imprescindible del catálogo de Switch, gameplay muy original y divertido, gran banda sonora, gran variedad de arma y de rachas. Lo que lastra es este juego es que solo puedes jugar 2 mapas cada 2 horas y que hay una escasez de modos de juegos.

    I LOVE this game. This is everything I wanted in a more kid friendly shooter. I love the gameplay. There are so many cool weapons to choose from. There a single player mode but I don't really like it. Lots of stuff you can wear. I also think the squids are cute :). However Switch Online is needed to play most of the game. Other then that this is a great game. Worth the buy.

    It’s not perfect, but it’s a great game. The gameplay is really unique, but there are a few things that fans wanted fixed from the first game that they didn’t fix in the second, like skippable news. However, these complaints aren’t actually that bad, and I think the actual gameplay balances out the couple of minor flaws.

    This game is amazing. The single player is great, salmon run is great all the modes are great, definetly reccomend. Only one thing in this game holds it back from being 10/10. No split screen multiplayer. I can't sit dowwn and play turf war with my sister. I have to take turns and its annoying. Still reccomend buying though

    In a short term: single player is fine for introducing weapons, but you buy this game for online.

    Single player: like i sed it fine for introducing weapons, but it gets repetitive and a bit boring, but boss fights are goood.     This game is great. Better than the first splatoon game. It may not have the wii u controls or the jumping mini game but everything splatoon 1 did splatoon 2 did better. Other than those flaws it's a great game as there are changes that either improves the franchise or makes it unique. The game has different weapons, it has salmon mode, you can change weapons in the lobby, it has different ranked modes, it has a rytham mini game, and the story isn't rehashed as it includes dlc and the first story was just about exploring the underground part of the city while the second story is about marie looking for calie. In conclusion, the game is great and while the voice chat may not be up to par, the game is still really fun unlike fortnite where I feel like I need voice chat to enjoy the game. The story and changes to the game are a welcome edition too and I love how it had more content at launch. People may say it's a rehash of splatoon 1 but I highly disagree.… Expand

    I'll give this a 94%. This game is amazing! Trying out so many weapons is sweet! Playing Turf War is excellent because it gives you a good challenge on facing real players worldwide. I had lots of fun playing the story mode. When buying weapons, shoes, hats, and shirts, they can upgrade your character's stats. The Octo Expansion DLC provides a good challenge for me as well!

    This game was definitely fun to play with family when I first got the switch but being a college student. I don't see most of my family during the school year so it hasn't done much for me. It is fun but I just can't get into it without anyone else. Without people it doesn't really stand a chance against some of the other games that I play.     There will be moments where aim accuracy is frustrating, especially if you are a mouse / keyboard PC FPS player, but shouldn't stop you from enjoying the game with a bit of getting used to.

    A really good game bogged down by problems it shouldn't even have. Like it's mind boggling how these issues slipped through.
    -You can join your friends easily enough in salmon run, but in normal matches it won't put you together. It will often put one person into a game and make the other wait, or put you on different teams, or just mess it up entirely.

    however, as much as I love this game it has a few very annoying quirks >.< but I hope they fix it, this is why I give the game an 8 instead of 10-9!

    1. You can't skip the intro and it's so annoying, I mean being forced to see it each time there's a new change or anything would be ok, but if you open the game, see the intro then close it you have to watch the news all over again about the map rotations!

    2. Maps change over time and they're not chosen over time randomly like other games, it makes it a little weird. I prefer random maps TBH!

    3. You can't leave the lobby once you're in! if it even takes like 5m you have to stay, although you could maybe turn your wi-fi off or something to make it kick you, but it's really dumb, It doesn't happen often but it early morning etc, it takes a long time to find a match and you're stuck there waiting, for some reason the 170s timer that kicks you if no players are found keeps just reseting too. and you can't do anything interesting while waiting other than playing with the music

    4. I originally complained about the match making but after playing a few more matches and reaching lvl 15-20 The MM started being a lot better!

    5. Lack of dedicated servers! I get a lot of disconnects. and the need for a Perfect internet connection is annoying, I can't play it anywhere but in my room cause my Mobile data's NAT Type is D. and the Switch's Wi-fi antenna is garbage! I really wish I could play this game when I'm outside like rocket league! and dedicated servers would just make everything a lot better! and not make people worry about their internet connection constantly!    … Expand

    If you loved the first game, then the chances are you're definitely going to love its sequel. Nintendo managed to make the fun found in its predecessor a lot more fun than what you could completely expect for a game that relies within a world filled with lovable characters.

    If you liked splatoon, you'll most likely like this. It is better in almost every way. One thing that took some getting used to is the removal of the right stick being able to move vertically(only horitizontally) while using motion controls. With practice it works fine, but I think I prefer controls where I have some control with the stick and fine tuning with the gyro. Zelda BOTW didIf you liked splatoon, you'll most likely like this. El modo héroe (individual) resulta ser bastante decente y divertido. El online me está gustando mucho, no soy fan de los juegos de shooter, pero Splatoon tiene un toque diferente que lo hace especial. Gran juego sin duda.

The chat app is terrible and playing on the same team as your friends requires you to be a higher level player, otherwise you are both put on random teams and the app won't let you communicate if you're against each other. I have been disconnected even when docked right in front of the wireless router. You can't leave once you're in the lobby, you get one chance to leave when a match ends and that's it, so people just disconnect and their team is guaranteed to lose because it's only 4v4.

    Despite all the complaints, Splatoon 2 is one of the best games on the Switch and It'll probably keep me playing for quite a while. If you played the first one and got bored of it, there's not much that's changed with the sequel, but if you want more, that Splatoon 2 improves on it's predecessor in just about every way.    … Expand

    Just finished playing through the campaign sometimes it was a bit of a grind but largely it was quite engaging. Broken up into 32 bit sized chunks you can chip away as and when to feel like it. The boss design is for me the strongest part of single player. It's no secret that the multi-player is where this game really shines

    Being one of Nintendo newest IPs still, they have manage to make a successor worthy of the previous. Still offering free updates in the form of gear, maps, modes, and other player customization. They manage to keep the game fresh. From the previous they have updated a voice chat option, mind you its not the best out there.     Splatoon 2 is a great shooter that brings a bit of fresh air to the genre. It improves considerably the original Splatoon, with more variety of weapons, a remarkable campaign, outstanding artistically, a good soundtrack but not perfect and playable exquisitely.

    Each level grants you the ability to unlock new clothing items and weapons with the in game currency. On top of that, each piece of clothing has the ability to level up up to three times, unlocking random additional skill sets. Dozens and dozens of different weapons can be bought at the weapon shop, allowing each player to easily find their own play style.

    Both the amazing sounds and music make sure each match (which usually lasts not more than 3 minutes, making this title perfect for its portable pick up and play nature) ends up being a lot of fun, and with its happy go lucky overall theme and the large amount of varied and different maps, it will surely put a smile on your face more than once. The shooting mechanics are satisfying and the damage feedback is always a pleasure to listen to.

    This game could easily get a 9 if it wasn’t for some major shortcomings, like the inability to play the wonderful co-op mode whenever you want (it is, in fact, only available on certain days), and the awful friends matchmaking system. If you can get past these issues, you’ll find Splatoon 2 to not only be an amazing pick up and play title perfect for the switch, but also one of the best shooters that ever made it to a Nintendo console.    … Expand

The game introduces 1 new mode called salmon run which is basically kill bosses, take the eggs and repeat.     I really wanted to enjoy this game, and initially, I did. I enjoyed playing Splatoon on the Wii U and this sequel seemed like the perfect opportunity to keep playing after I got a Switch. And at first, I did love the game. However, when Nintendo decided that you cannot play online, which is the main feature, without paying for Nintendo Switch Online, it sort of ruined the experience for meI really wanted to enjoy this game, and initially, I did. I enjoyed playing Splatoon on the Wii U and this sequel seemed like the perfect opportunity to keep playing after I got a Switch. And at first, I did love the game. However, when Nintendo decided that you cannot play online, which is the main feature, without paying for Nintendo Switch Online, it sort of ruined the experience for me as I did not want to pay. I know there is other game modes, but I tried Salmon run and didn't particularly enjoy it as it is far too hard and I am sort of incompetent while playing difficult games. Finally, the single player mode was fun yet underwhelming. I think it is lacklustre compared to the original game's story.
    The reason I am giving it a good score, however, is because in the time before Nintendo Switch Online took over, I didn't stop playing it. It was brilliant. I think this game is only really fun if you are willing to pay, but when you are ready to pay extra for online play, it is definitely worth it.    … Expand

The online was fun but personally, it was that addicting for me and I couldn't really get into it. I did really like the salmon run mode.     Splatoon 2 displays updated graphics from the predecessor, a plethora of new weapons, a new game mode and a new battle mode keeping new fans and old fans alike interested in the game until the next release in the popular series. But even the most colourful vibes capturing a summer festival with friends from seasons past, UI changes and the removal of quality of life additions from Splatoon 1 may irate only the most dedicated of Splatoon players - Splatoon 2 offers a staple experience of classic Nintendo multiplayer games.

    What can you say, it's pretty much just Splatoon 1 but with way more content. Octo expansion is the icing on the cake. Aside from minor balance issues that come with all games like this, Splatoon 2 is one hunky game.

    Splatoon 2 is a great successor to the previous installment in this franchise and is tons of fun to play. This is one of the best casual 'shooters' on the market, and if you like Nintendo and shooters, you are bound to love this game.

    Though never fun in real life, spilling ink all around is even more fun in Splatoon 2 than it was in the first game. Teaming up with your squid friends has never been better. But even though some weird Nintendo elements can drag the fun to a stall, everywhere that Splatoon 2 shines makes it a deserving heir to the original.
