    I love it! The world is sooooooo huge. There is a vast world to discover. A lot of things to do. A very intriguing story. I recommend it. I would put a 9.5, because of the pooping, but we don't have that option on metacritic, so I'll put a 10.

    So, uh... this game is Amazin'?

    I did not expect to love this as much as I did, and this is comin' from someone that Loved Sonic Forces!
    But this game is just on another level!
    Everythin', the Story, the OST, the Cutscenes, the Gameplay, The Bosses... there wasn't a single thing I disliked 'bout this one, and I'm still in awe on how much this made me feel good!

    This game in it of itself is a masterpiece regardless of Sonic games! The open world is so fun to explore and you can run freely and platform at full speed and fight enemies, bosses and Titans, it's so fun! You can also combat and fight a lot of unique enemies and bosses, and unlock a lot of new combat moves and    Sonic Frontiers is the best Sonic game in the entire franchise!

    This game in it of itself is a masterpiece regardless of Sonic games!

    The open world is so fun to explore and you can run freely and platform at full speed and fight enemies, bosses and Titans, it's so fun!

    You can also combat and fight a lot of unique enemies and bosses, and unlock a lot of new combat moves and skills, at the skill tree!

    You can also upgrade Sonic, you can upgrade his strength, speed, ring capacity and defense!

    The story is the best out of the whole franchise, and the voice acting is very good, Roger Craig Smith did an amazing job as the voice of Sonic!

    The music in this game is incredible and it's the best music in the entire franchise!

    The Super Sonic fights against the Titans were amazing and some of the best fights in a video game!

    The 5 years wait was definitely worth it.

    I love how this game boils down to just a few things:
    - Run around without reason
    - Go "Oooh what's that?"
    - Go there
    - Do the thing
    - Repeat until you're somehow at the end of the island smacking titan ass after 4-5 hours of getting distracted by small platforming challenges, puzzles and treasure spots.

    Yeah this game ain't for everyone but it's at least worth a try.

The cyberspace is normally others biggest gripe, but for me, it just makes the game worth the 60$ price tag. It combines Sonic Generations and Breath of the Wild, which is perfect. However, if you do not like Sonic games, this will not change your mind. But ifTo make it short, this is not only best Sonic game, but best game.     This game is simply amazing. I never had this much fun with a sonic game since unleashed 14 years ago. This is the best 3d sonic game ever. The combat is fun, the world is beautiful and the exploration never felt boring. The bosses are the best in the series. The music is top notch. The story reminds me of the 2000's a lot (in a good way) and the dialogue and characterization are perfect.This game is simply amazing.     This is the only version of the game that I can try and I have to say that it is fascinating The game has its respective problems, but nothing can deny that we are facing a great game

I love this game so much, it’s amazing to run around the open zones doing tricks and using all the different pathways and to just experienced it. And don’t even get me started on the bosses, I’ve never had so much fun as super sonic since sa2. I would love to see this as the formula for sonic going forward. Small issues with pop ins however these could be easily negated with a visual effect or glitch affect to show it’s the ancients power making them appear or something. And holy cow the characterisation is such a breath of fresh air! They’re back baby!!!! Ma Boi is baaaaaack!!!!… Expand

    Sonic frontiers va bastante bien en nintendo switch hay problemas de popping pero en ningun momento se me ha crasheado o cerrado el juego, ya he tenido juegos con ese problema y esperaba algo similar con frontiers pero me ha sorprendido mucho, es muy divertido y sus nuevas mecanicas son geniales

The pop in is big and there is some bugs (not much) but the game could have been more polished. the story was really good, i just wish the animations were better, its a big improvement from forces, but its still not good enough. The Open Zone concept has a couple of flaws that are mostly nitpicks, and while the Cyber Space levels aren't great, they ultimately don't last long enough that I feel like they become an issue, and if you're really hating them,While by no means a perfect game, this game is still an absolute blast to play and is easily the most fun I've had playing a Sonic Game since Sonic Generations. The Open Zone concept has a couple of flaws that are mostly nitpicks, and while the Cyber Space levels aren't great, they ultimately don't last long enough that I feel like they become an issue, and if you're really hating them, you can bypass most of the stages simply by playing the fishing mini game and investing your fish tokens into vault keys. Sonic Frontiers is definitely, without any shred of hesitation, a huge step in the right direction and I look forward to seeing what's next for the franchise.… Expand

    The music and story are a perfect 10!
    Now I know the game can feel clunky and slow, but it was way better than 06, where it had way more glitches then it should have. The 3rd Titan boss was the coolest and the sont Find your Flame just made this boss battle more interesting to fight! I believe that the team needs more people though so that the next Sonic game can be just as good if not better than this one! And don't listen to Dunkey, he is the most dumbest YouTube Gamer I have seen, that is why his persona is a donkey    … Expand

    Very fun game. A little rough around the edges in ways that could have been fixed with another month of polishing off but doesn't detract from the overall experience. Easily the best Sonic game we've had in over a decade and a promising sign of things to come.

    I loved the game a lot, I've been playing this beautiful game for 15 hours and I still haven't finished it. At first I was afraid that the game was trash, but I was wrong, it was the opposite. Although the game is not perfect at all, but it is enjoyable and I think it is the most important thing in a game. One last thing, please make your own opinions and don't take the opinion of aI loved the game a lot, I've been playing this beautiful game for 15 hours and I still haven't finished it.     Loved this game. Yes, it has its shortcomings but the positives outweigh the negatives. I enjoyed the new "open-zone" formula. Cyber space levels coupled with a banger soundtrack pump you up. Finally, the story is riveting and fun to follow. You actually care for the characters. One of the most memorable parts of the game is Super Sonic fights against the Titans. Truly epic.     I usually rarely ever review anything. But because of Dunkey’s toxic bs fanbase. I feel like I have to add my review to this game.

    This game is genuinely fun to play. If you are a sonic fan or a causal gamer that likes open world games. Then most likely you will love this game. This is the first time you get to control Sonic’s high speed in a open world. This is also the first time    I usually rarely ever review anything. But because of Dunkey’s toxic bs fanbase. I feel like I have to add my review to this game.

    This game is genuinely fun to play. If you are a sonic fan or a causal gamer that likes open world games. Then most likely you will love this game. This is the first time you get to control Sonic’s high speed in a open world. This is also the first time in a mainline Sonic game you get a skill tree system. It’s not too complex which is great again for casual gamers and the moves aren’t difficult to understand. But using them in combat to juggle enemies is extremely satisfying it reminds of Devil May Cry’s combat system in away. Super Sonic is back and this time he’s fighting massive titans that actually feel like a threat while epic music plays in the background. Also for a game aimed at a younger audience that adds limitations in what can be added to the story. The story is surprisingly really good and you get to connect with the characters and see them develop even further in the franchise. So great job Sega we need more of this.

    But with all that said. There is 1 thing I would love to see improving in the game. Are the object pop ins. At the start it will be weird seeing them but over time you end up getting use to it.

    Overall this game is really fun and you’ll definitely end up putting hours in this game feeling like as if minutes went by. Do I recommend it 100%.

    This is a mega fun game. There’s a big noticeable effort by the creators to make something big, and that can be seen in the story, the character writing and the enemies and of course the big environments. Feels very good to control, have not experienced any lag issues or glitches playing on the switch, and am surprised by how smoothly it runs. Marvellous job.

    Definitely one of the most engaging and fun games I've played in a long while. Amazing what they are able to pull off on the switch. Everyone complains about the pop-in, but honestly if you could move that fast you'd probably notice the pop-in too

    Sonic Frontiers has been a major blast of fun and thrilling gameplay and storytelling. For the first open world Sonic game it does its job well. The characters feel like a true return to form with their personalities and the story isn't an "Oh boy what wacky situation will we get into now?" kind of deal. It's just good fun all around.

Best story, best gameplay, best music, best boost controls, best combat and skill tree, best writing and portrayals and voice acting, the list goes on. 11/10. the game even fixes boost where you can control it and no longer need drifting. open zone is amazing.     One of the best 3D Sonic Games I love this game! As a person who plays it on switch everyday, I find it very fun and I never get bored of it! The characters, You have Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and more! But The Ultimate Music never gets tiring, I can play this game forever. I play it at night when I’m ready for bed, I get on and play a couple of races and I love the game, it’s one of myOne of the best 3D Sonic Games I love this game!     Finally, a worthy successor to Sonic Adventure DX has arrived. A game that takes elements from other games in the series and from other games and creates a combination that works. It avsorbs you from the first moment, waiting for any freetime you have to race around Starfall Islands. It needs a patch, yes, but the game is fully playable and enjoyable.

    I was initially worried given Sonic Team's recent history of running more on ambition than polish, but with this they've delivered the best 3D platformer I've played in many years. I didn't even have this much fun with A Hat In Time, which is saying something!

    The open-world design doesn't get tiresome thanks to Sonic's excellent speed (so long as you don't choose the play the game in    I was initially worried given Sonic Team's recent history of running more on ambition than polish, but with this they've delivered the best 3D platformer I've played in many years. I didn't even have this much fun with A Hat In Time, which is saying something!

    The open-world design doesn't get tiresome thanks to Sonic's excellent speed (so long as you don't choose the play the game in "action mode" - "high-speed mode" is definitely how the game is intended to be played).

    Oh, and the soundtrack is once again an absolute crowning achievement. Those boss themes are simply phenomenal.

    The pop-in is frankly somewhat odd, but it's not as worse on Switch than other platforms as far as I could tell. And you stop noticing it after a while, since the distance is far enough that you've still got plenty of time to react.    … Expand

The game is super fun, the combat is satisfying, the animation is good (its better if they gave it squash and stretch), dont forget the bosses is so awesome and of course, the music is hella fire especially the boss fight songs, though im a bit disappointed about the final boss, i was about to rate this a 9 but because of the new dlc coming through out this year i gave it a 10, super fun game and i really recommend this game… Expand

    Sonic frontiers Not a bad game Even on switch the controls are amazing. Writing has never been as good since black knight. Glitches I personally only experienced 1 glitch although the pop in is a thing.

    Overall 10/10

    Sonic Frontiers tried so hard to bring new elements to the game that it ended up forgetting to put more of the personality of its own franchise. However, they managed to create a dynamic, captivating and fast game - as good as any other in the Sonic franchise. It's the kind of game where time passes like lightning, blue lightning.

    Sonic Frontiers deserves credit for being a true departure from previous series installments. The open-zone structure is a great concept that frees the developers up to experiment with Sonic’s speed and abilities in new ways. Where the game comes up short is in its stale rehashing of classic stages, a control setup that could stand to be simplified, and performance woes that suck players out of the gameplay experience. With plenty of DLC and patches on the way, hopefully Frontiers can become a better version of what came out at launch. In the interim, it’s a buggy affair that entertains and frustrates in equal measures.
