My biggest complaint is that at game startup, the game wants to share some data witch 2K for no reason, you are unable to reject the data sharing thing. If you click 'Cancel', the game will ask you again the same thing at each game startup.... Really no reasons for such sharing requirement, for single player. for multiplayer, you could just create a 2K account if needed.

From a gameplay perspective, if you enjoy Civ games, you'll play countless hours of fun, the ability to play it handled is a + :)

For me personally, this was my most regretted eShop-Buy in years, considering the proud price.

Overall, I do like the principle of the game, the graphics, etc. I did play it on PC and also loved similar strategy games in the past. But what really drove me crazy after a while were the switch mechanics. Everything feels so cumbersome and slow to me. Due to not owning a screen I am

But what really drove me crazy after a while were the switch mechanics. Everything feels so cumbersome and slow to me. Due to not owning a screen I am playing all of my games in portable mode, which has never been a problem. With this one, the small screen becomes a real pain after a while. Also the loading time for the rounds increases drastically while playing along, so that after a while I felt like I was spending far more time waiting than actually playing the game. Very little fun factor and disappointing. Some games are just not meant to be transferred onto switch.

+ nice graphics, big world, many options to start with,at the beginning you might think it might be the best game in switch but...

    - very difficult for me, some bugs for example while you are playing it stops and need restart but the good thing is that usually it does a autosave often, after about half of the game that the map is big, the loading times are getting to be very big

Generally it is a good tranfer to switch and you will spend many hours palying and if you find it on a sale then it is a must game.

I want to like it, but I do not keep coming back to it. In fact I probably won't be playing it again. All the machanics seem to be thought out , graphics are charming, gameplay has a good momentum and sense of growth, but it just doesn't click for me

I have played this game for 3 days and I have found the tutorial, extremely boring and besides of that, I have not seen the appeal in the gameplay. I have quitted and maybe I´ll come in the future and give it a better opportunity.

Not a good port. Switch doesn't handle the game. If you have time and patience, the game might be rewarding. You should play it on a platform that won't freeze the game constantly.

It’s the sort of game that, at least to me, feels tailor-made for playing on a handheld, and once you get past the loading screens, it runs pretty smoothly (a stark contrast to Civilization Revolution on the Vita, which chugged as you got closer to the endgame). If you’re a Civilization veteran wondering whether you invest in the Switch version, I obviously can’t help you, but everyone else should find plenty here to like.

Overall, Civilization VI is an excellent addition to the Switch's library. Turn-based-strategy fans will love this very gratifying portable gem.

Lack of several DLCs can be overlooked, impossibility to buy the big Rise & Fall expansion less so, and the butchered multiplayer options are downright annoying. Still, this is a good port of a brilliant game which is a perfect fit for Nintendo Switch.
