Semispheres is a really cool puzzle game that can be played solo, though I imagine it would be even more fun to play with a partner. The blue and gold jellyfish are controlled using both halves of the Switch’s Joycons, making it extraordinarily easy for two people to work together--a noticeable difference, I assume, from the PC and PlayStation versions of the game. Easy to pick up but challenging enough to make you feel a sense of achievement, Semispheres is a great and relaxing way to spend an afternoon.

Semispheres is a game that can be looked at from many views. It features an overall relaxing atmosphere and allows the players to enjoy themselves for a while before fading out...but it doesn't stand up to a major challenge and falls behind when it's about pushing further, which may feel as a shortcoming for some.

Semispheres is a pretty standard puzzle game, it has some nice concepts but fails to really elaborate on them enough to build a more compelling experience. The game is a good way to spend an evening if you prefer to relax and stroll through some straightforward puzzles, so for those with a cerebral itch, Semispheres is a decent if forgettable experience.
