I am sending this game to mother base for research and development so I can exterminate this game from existence!

Scribblenauts 1 sold me a Nintendo DS. it wasn't perfect, but the use of basically ANYTHING you could think of made the game unique and fantastic for people who wanted to use their brain to solve even the simpler puzzle with the most overcomplicated and original solution in the world.

Super Scribblenauts was simply amazing, and Unlimited just the way to follow and improve. The moment the game was affected by bigger companies, it went to ****

And here we are, with WB using a completely unknown and mis-related company to create a soulless, unfun, betraying piece of garbage nobody should support. Please, if you ever see someone try to get this game even for his little kid, try to convince that person of the heavy punishment this game deserves.

It may have killed the franchise; one that I particularly loved for years. It's embarrassing, insulting and I can't express enough hate to this kind of disgusting product.

What makes me laugh is that TheTrueMarioFan and myself have predicted that the game was going to suck. The game is lame and the main gimmick of writing stuff is being shat on with the horrendous gameplay. If you have a very unique formula, don't try to change it.

This game is the WORST idea any developer ever had.

This game basically has nothing in common with past Scribblenauts titles. It's a terrible Mario Party clone, that is all there is to it.

Showdown follows the utterly brilliant Unlimited, so the new studio faced a huge challenge. What they came up with is a party spin-off, a decent one but also short-lived, as it offers few minigames (some of which borrow from Asteroids, Elastomania or Flappy Bird). It also features a Sandbox mode, which resembles original Scribblenauts but trails behind it. [05/2018, p.60]

It's astonishing that Shiver couldn't conjure up a decent party game from such great source material. [June 2018, p.118]

It doesn't quite feel like the boundary- pushing fount of innovation the series was originally known for. [Issue #33 – May/June 2018, p. 70]
