Apr 13, 2021If you miss those funny, experimental games from the PSX era, this is a great choice. It knows how to make the most of its sense of humor, even if the gameplay could have been deeper or more diverse.
-
Apr 9, 2021Say No! More is a game with simple mechanics that delivers an emotional and thought provoking story. The characters are wacky, but full of heart and charm, and the story is no different. Its focus on themes like power of self-advocacy, helping those around you, and breaking cycles of abuse will resonate and inform a lot of how a prospective player feels about the short game. With only a 2 hour run time, Say No! More manages to navigate humor and heart with grace and is well worth picking up for those interested in a compelling narrative experience.

Apr 9, 2021Vibrant, colourful, much deeper than it looks on the surface and doesn’t outstay its welcome, Say No! More is a thoroughly enjoyable experience. You’ll likely only play it once and it’s not a hugely interactive game, but if you like a game with a layered narrative, this will certainly deliver.

Apr 18, 2021Say No! More is a cool, different and fun title. It has a deep message and its combination of styles offers a lot of fun. Although the game offers very good vibes, it is a bit short.

Nintendo Force MagazineOct 7, 2021It's a game where you literally can't lose. There are no Game Overs, just slight delays in your inevitable move through the plot. By refusing to say "No!" to the player with an occasional fail state, the game leads you to feel like your choices don't matter. It's oddly disempowering for a game about taking charge, and the main reason why I can't give this a more enthusiastic "Yes!" [Issue #54 – September 2021, p. 26]
-
Apr 9, 2021Say No! More is a game that entertains in its entire duration. Studio Fizbin's game teaches us the importance of saying no when needed and in its simple way it also manages to convey a meaningful message. A funny and short game, one that you cannot help but love.
-
May 4, 2021It feels a bit thin for the price, especially when you can enjoy the same experience on your mobile device for almost a third of the cost. Still, if you enjoy oddball games or just need a pick-me-up, you should consider playing Say No! More on one platform or another.
-
Apr 20, 2021Say No! More is a brief title that makes up for underutilising its core mechanic with some hysterical moments and a lot of heart. If you could do with a game to cheer you up after a hard day, don’t say no to this one.
-
Apr 12, 2021If you’re looking for a deep gameplay experience, then Say No! More is absolutely not going to be your cup of tea. It’s one of the most simplistic indie games that I’ve ever played, but it’s also one of the most heartfelt and memorable, as well as teaching some genuinely valuable lessons in its short run time. Don’t say no to this one.
-
Apr 9, 2021As much comedic potential as Say No! More has, it feels like it only scratches the surface of what is possible within this specific setting and world. The levels are pretty repetitive and lack a lot of player agency. While the style, atmosphere, themes and story are very good I don’t think I will return to Say No! More in the future. Not because I think I shouldn’t say no more, if anything this game made me realize that I do say yes too many times in my life, but because like a good self-help book, the real change begins when you’re finished reading the story.
-
Apr 16, 2021Indies don't get much funnier than Say No! More with its goofy story, pitch-perfect presentation, and laugh-out-loud situations.
-
Apr 16, 2021Say No! More is as fun as it is short. In few hours of verbal abuse, Fizbin's arcade shooter delivers a legitimate criticism of the business world, with many good puns. Unfortunately, it's shortness and lack of replay value makes it fun for only a few hours. But good ones, for sure.
-
Apr 9, 2021Say No! More has extremely vapid gameplay and can be finished in less than two hours, but the art style and sense of humor are so refreshing that the game is still weirdly charming.
-
Apr 25, 2021It looks nice and its message deserves to be listened and understood. But it lacks content and its gameplay is way too simple to be something with lasting appeal.
-
Apr 27, 2021Although it’s an amusing tale it’s not sharp or slick enough to work in that very one-dimensional way. The slightly high price-tag also prohibits us from recommending this as just a 2 hour throwaway experience. Why the main concept couldn’t be explored with some actual gameplay we don’t know, and you’re left with a title that simply never gets close to fulfilling its potential.
