Despite the good native resolution the variable framerate,in some moments, is more closer to the last gen than to the current (especially in Chris campaign)..The variable framerate in Leon, Ada and Jake campaign, insted, is more closer to ps4/xone version but not stable at 50/60 fps.. capcom can do better! However, switch portability always offers a good feeling.

Although the technical issues are a shame, the game is still technically fully playable without too much issue, and is certainly a lot more interesting than Resident Evil 5. If the Switch is your only option to play Resident Evil 6 then this port will have to do, but it’s a shame that the system can’t quite handle how intense the experience is. Still, if you can accept the technical limitations and the lack of horror here then Resident Evil 6 can deliver a really great time, and can finally be looked at as just another fun anecdote in the history of the series.

As it stands, these are both really solid ports of some pretty fun video games from the last generation brought to portable life on the Switch. If you’re in the market for more Resident Evil on the go, then you’ll likely want to pick both up when you have a chance.

A game that leaves the surival horror in the background and focuses on fighting. It shines in its multiplayer section but fails to give us a more frightening story.
