    The bad:

    - very expensive for a game that originally came out in 2005. Honestly, this game is half the price on other platforms - no gyro controls. They work great on resident evil revelations 2. Why not here? - no extras. Ada' side missions, mercenaries, etc. - In terms of graphics, audio and fx, this game is looking its age The good: - It's one of the best games ever made -

Great port and very stable 60fps in all modes (docked and handheld) ..but huge disappointment for the price (+10€) and no gyroscope support..

Still a great game. But honestly.... provides nothing new. The game been released countless times and you just aren't missing anything if you don't get this copy. Priced way too high, nothing new added. Pass on it until an extreme sale comes up. You'll basically just be paying for the convenience of the game. That's it.

Very good game. But very bad port - no gyro aiming, weak performance. Waiting for patch(es)!

Good game, just very pricey for what if offers. Also I substract a point because it’s imposible to get a physical version

Fantastic game over a decade ago, graphics old and tired, game mechanics decrepit overall Cheap shot at money milking by capcom £30 for a game so old and rusty £8 and I'd give it an 8/10.
It's a great game but it's time to leave it with nostalgia. I loved it on gamecube, and it was amazing on wii with motion control. What a shame capcom have been so lazy and blown the dust off an old copy

What a shame capcom have been so lazy and blown the dust off an old copy and serving as fresh. No motion control and very little except price to distinguish it from a wii/gamecube copy. And the motion blur option, what's with that?

Resident evil 4 was recommended to me by my friends saying that it's the best game ever made and because of it I was interested in playing it. After reading a few reviews that said that it's really bad on nintendo switch which was the version I was planning on playing, but since I had decided that I would give things my friends recommend a chance as a new years resolution, so I bought theResident evil 4 was recommended to me by my friends saying that it's the best game ever made and because of it I was interested in playing it. After reading a few reviews that said that it's really bad on nintendo switch which was the version I was planning on playing, but since I had decided that I would give things my friends recommend a chance as a new years resolution, so I bought the game and played it and after finishing it I have to say that I love the game. Action was fun, bosses were very interesting since all of them have weaknesses that make them way easier and finding those weaknesses was fun and hordes of enemies were blood pumping to take down. Over all the game has a few problems that every game will face since they come with age. Overall a very enjoyable play through that I would recommend to every fan of video games. Expand

The horrendous controls make this game unplayable. Waste of time and money.

Resident Evil 4 is entertaining throughout - this review has focussed on negative missteps that have been taken while concocting the Nintendo Switch version. It is more expensive than PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, with no actual differences between them. However, it is undeniable that it is a standout title despite these somewhat ageing issues. To help compensate for this, it does run at a stable 60 frame-rate, and of course, is now fully portable. It may not be the definitive version of Resident Evil 4, but it is still a fun one nonetheless.

It may offer nothing new from past ports, but even in its creaky age, Resident Evil 4 remains a stone-cold classic. From its terrifyingly opening to the final getaway, it’s a hell of a ride that most AAA single-player campaigns only wish they could be.

A wonderfully cheesy narrative, brilliant level and character design, stunning art direction, and some of the best shooting mechanics ever made all coalesce into a legend of the video game industry. Resident Evil 4 HD absolutely needs to be in everyone’s Switch library.
