May 21, 2019Great port and very stable 60fps in all modes (docked and handheld) ..but huge disappointment for the price (+10€) and no gyroscope support..

May 23, 2019Still a great game. But honestly.... provides nothing new. The game been released countless times and you just aren't missing anything if you don't get this copy. Priced way too high, nothing new added. Pass on it until an extreme sale comes up. You'll basically just be paying for the convenience of the game. That's it.

May 25, 2019Very good game. But very bad port - no gyro aiming, weak performance. Waiting for patch(es)!

Jul 13, 2019Good game, just very pricey for what if offers. Also I substract a point because it’s imposible to get a physical version

Sep 20, 2022The horrendous controls make this game unplayable. Waste of time and money.

Jan 21, 2020Resident Evil 4 is entertaining throughout - this review has focussed on negative missteps that have been taken while concocting the Nintendo Switch version. It is more expensive than PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, with no actual differences between them. However, it is undeniable that it is a standout title despite these somewhat ageing issues. To help compensate for this, it does run at a stable 60 frame-rate, and of course, is now fully portable. It may not be the definitive version of Resident Evil 4, but it is still a fun one nonetheless.

Sep 5, 2019It may offer nothing new from past ports, but even in its creaky age, Resident Evil 4 remains a stone-cold classic. From its terrifyingly opening to the final getaway, it’s a hell of a ride that most AAA single-player campaigns only wish they could be.

Jul 31, 2019A wonderfully cheesy narrative, brilliant level and character design, stunning art direction, and some of the best shooting mechanics ever made all coalesce into a legend of the video game industry. Resident Evil 4 HD absolutely needs to be in everyone’s Switch library.
