"Get Rekt!" is not something one would expect to write or read in a professional video game review, but there is truly no other conclusion we could end with. For the tiny asking price you get a complete and charming single experience that will keep rewarding your efforts with extra content that, in turn, helps to expand the multiplayer portion of the game. Tight controls and enjoyable in-game physics seal the deal, and while a more traditional racing mode would have been nice, what's on offer more than justifies the low asking price.

Simply put, most indie games don't feature as much action-packed replay value as the super-fun trick-based REKT! High Octane Stunts.

Imagine Tony Hawk's games but with cars and neoretro vibe. Damn action-packed.

A fun mix of Tony Hawks and Rocket League, with a great "just one more game" feel. And an absolute bargain.

Controls work just fine, the cars handle fine, and there's a surprisingly large amount of content (assuming, of course, you enjoy the base mechanics). The multiplayer modes are interesting. This is the kind of game that decides what it wants to be and tries to be the best version of it that it can.

Given everything, I'd say this game is worth a go at full price if you're a fan of arena perform-stunts-for-high-scores games, and worth a dip on sale if you're just looking for anything to fill the gap between big releases.

Acrobatics with cars and w/o risk of dying in the process, what else do you need? I am having a blast with this one.

Other than that, it doesn't give you much reason to come back to it. The multiplayer is about as fun as Tony Hawk's multiplayer options, so if you enjoy that you'll enjoy this game overall. Expand
