    If you’re going in expecting RBI Baseball 18 on the Switch to rival MLB The Show, you’ll be sorely disappointed. For that matter, if you’re hoping for a game to rival Super Mega Baseball 2 for arcade baseball action, you’ll be pretty disappointed. But if you go in just hoping for a baseball game that works, then — possibly for the first time ever — then it’s possible to say that RBI Baseball 18 does the job.

    R.B.I. Baseball 18 is another disappointing baseball 'simulation' on Switch. If you want a solid baseball experience on the Switch, you could do worse than Super Baseball 2020. Failing that, go buy a PS4 and MLB The Show 18 and be happy the rest of your life. On today’s platforms, Sony San Diego has it sewn up and this is not going to change any time soon.

    You could certainly do a lot worse than R.B.I. Baseball '18. For those looking for a baseball game with real MLB teams and players, you haveYou could certainly do a lot worse than R.B.I. For those looking for a baseball game with real MLB teams and players, you have literally no alternative outside of the PlayStation 4-exclusive MLB The Show, so if you can tolerate the unimpressive visuals and unbalanced gameplay, you might have a fair to decent time with R.B.I.… Full Review »

It's an arcade , bare-bones style of baseball which is fine, but don't think your'e getting an equivalent to something like The Show. Things like GM mode and home run derby are nice additions to the '18 version, but they are pretty shallow. Be aware of some major bugs and long load times also; these didn't ruin the experience for me but they will certainly test your patience. If your'e craving a baseball game on the switch, this is a decent pick-up, but leave your expectations at the door… Full Review »
