Raging Justice is the perfect game to run through in a single sitting or try to complete the list of challenges for each level. Fans of the genre will find many resemblances to games like Final Fight and Streets of Rage. There’s enough replay value to invite you in—just don’t let the difficulty scare you away.

The graphics made it very appealing but the gameplay and sound were so disappointing. It felt extremely repetitive without any real rewards. The multiplayer was more fun but still lacked the core attributes a side scrolling beat em up should have.
Unfortunately I went in expecting it to be a Streets Of Rage 2018 improvement but it failed to even shine the boots of the cult classic.

The sound is disappointing, some of the music is just plain bad. Stages are just alright. Gameplay gets the job done but is nothing special. Graphics are a mixed bag, nice in some ways bad in others. In the end it just feels like the kind of thing that really doesn't stand out, true classics are a lot more appealing. This might please some hardcore beat-em-up fans who are just begging for a new game in the genre with a similar look to some cheesy 16-bit games but outside of that it is hard to recommend. It feels pretty clunky at first, but once you get the hang of it you can plough through gangs of thugs in very satisfying style. There are only 9 short levels and 4 brawl stages (wave battles with 7 rounds each), so don't expect this to keep you occupied for too long. But if you enjoy this genre, you can't go too far wrong when the game goes on a heavy sale. I picked it up for $3.59 which is a bargain! Full Review »
