    Prison Architect is a deep and complex micro-management sim that pays off for putting in the hours. It may be an expensive eShop only title, but it's great fun - do check it out.

    Prison Architect is a blast. It offers an interesting thematic take on a bizarre sub genre of simulations, and while it retains the general complexity and what made that other game so good, it strips away all the fat, keeps it laser focused, and wraps it all up in a lovely usable user interface. It can be a hard knock life, and even with the tutorials you will still learn best by diving in and exploring, but Prison Architect is well worth the time investment required.

    With all manner of pre-designed and freeform modes - and a haul of DLC included as standard - the last thing you’ll be doing with Prison Architect: Nintendo Switch Edition is hard time. The sheer amount of interconnected systems you need to track and maintain are as vast as they are intricate, but learn to spin its penal plates and you’ll have one of the deepest - and most rewarding - simulation games ever made at your fingertips. It’s still an awkward fit for console controls, but the game beneath them is worth the effort nonetheless.

    It’s not hard to pour a bunch of time into Prison Architect, and I am happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a sim game to play on their couch.

    I've played Prison Architect previously on PC and pumped quite some hours in the game there. When I saw that Prison Architect is also on theI've played Prison Architect previously on PC and pumped quite some hours in the game there. When I saw that Prison Architect is also on the Switch I waited for it to go on sale because I already owned it on PC.
    Now, after waiting for the sale I finally picked it up and I can say I'm very happy with the game! The escape mode is one of my personal favorite gamemodes in the game and it feels much better compared to the PC version.

    The building on the Switch can be a bit difficult and slow sometimes but it still feels satisfying to play on the switch.

    There are some missing features like mutators that the Switch doesn't have compared to the PC version. (like insta-build etc.) Which is not a big deal but would be fun to have.
    The UI is also better on the Switch in my opinion. It's less cluttered and straight forward compared to the PC version.

    9/10. Very fun game with hours of gameplay. It's worth it even at full price.    … Expand

    PRISON ARCHITECT es exactamente todo lo que se espera de un juego el cual está enfocado en la construcción y gestión de prisiones.

    En    PRISON ARCHITECT es exactamente todo lo que se espera de un juego el cual está enfocado en la construcción y gestión de prisiones.

    En cuanto al apartado grafico este es un poco extraño en un principio, pero rápidamente uno se acostumbra, en cuando a los controles y jugabilidad en las primeras horas se hace un poco complejo aconstumbrarse a los controles de la Nintendo switch lo cual dificulta un poco la construcción de instalaciones durante este periodo de tiempo, pero con el tiempo uno se adapta y resulta ser muy fácil realizar esto.

    Existen una gran variedad de cosas por hacer las cuales en un principio se ven como una infinidad pero lentamente uno se va dando cuenta que no son tantas como uno se lo imagina y termina en un problema que muchos videojuegos de gestión y construcción posee, el cual es hacer lo mismo una y otra vez, más grande y más caro, aunque como método para escapar de esta rutina el juego pone en los reclusos un sistema de necesidades las cuales deben ser saciadas para mantener a los mismos tranquilos y evitar problemas, sinceramente muy pocas veces e tenido el problema de que las necesidades no se encuentren satisfechas y conlleven a problemas grandes, aunque existen eventos en el juego los cuales pueden generar uno que otro problemas, especialmente como cuando hay explosiones o incendios, guerras de bandas, entre otros. Principalemten porque en este juego se ocupa un sistema de construcción que a mi parecer es uno de los mejores en su tipo, alejándose de lo clásico, dicho sistema se basa en órdenes y trabajadores los cuales las realizan, por ejemplo, si se necesita contruir un muro, se da la orden y se debe esperar a que los trabajadores la acaten y realicen la operación esto no suena muy complejo, pero créeme tener que contruir un muro a contrarreloj, porque acaba de explotar los muros exteriores mientras un mar de reclusos quiere escapar es más entretenido de lo que uno cree.

    Aparte del sistema de necesidades existe un sistema de reputación para la prision en sí, la cual mide la satisfacción de los reclusos, la seguridad, la salud, y la reforma siendo este otro punto importante, ¿qué prefieres tener presos con necesidades básicas cumplidas solamente (jugar, ejercitarse, comer, etc) o prefieres gastar presupuesto en implementar un sistema de reforma y así evitar que vuelvan a delinquir?

    Los presos también se dividen en grupos según la seguridad que estos requieren siendo baja, media, alta y extrema teniendo también a los "locos" los cuales necesitan tratamiento psiquiátrico, y cada uno de estos tendrá necesidades y motivaciones distintas, algunos simplemente quieres pasar su condena tranquila mientras otros quieren asesinar a todo el mundo.

    El principal modo de juego es crea una prision la cual como su nombre indica consiste en crear una prision y hacerla progresar para luego venderla o lo que sea tu gusto, hacer experimentos con tus reclusos, entre otras cosas. Además de este modo de juego existe un modo campaña la cual funciona a modo de tutorial.

    existen muchas más características que posee este videojuego las cuales no quise mencionar y prefiero que tú las veas, aunque de igual forma extraño algunas características que tienen otras versiones como la de PC, aunque sin duda alguna este es un excelente videojuego para pasar el tiempo y entretenerte.    … Expand
