May 12, 2023I love this game, it is very entertaining. The gameplay lives up to the originals quite well while introducing fun new mechanics and elements. This title deserves a lot more love than these "critics" want to give it. The formula is fun and addicting, and this game improves on it very well. Furthermore, The story is goofy and interesting. I would definitely recommend this title.

Jun 21, 2022The best Mystery Dungeon game, and a love letter to the series of spinoffs.

May 26, 2022Finally a good remake. They actually managed to get almost everything right, never expected this game to be as good as it is.
-
May 9, 2022I played the DS version and all I can say is that this one makes the job, getting me back to childhood.

Nov 29, 2020This game is truly something special. I did play this as a kid, and maybe it's just nostalgia, but damn I love this game. It's fun, it has a simple story, but a touching one at that. It's honestly a real tear jerker. The new artwork is INCREDIBLE, and even 15 years later, Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team and this 2020 remaster is one of my all time favorite games. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Oct 26, 2020Besides the moving story telling, this game is even more suitable for single play without other players.

Aug 23, 2020Amazing Story. the music is underrated as hell. and the game play is addicting as hell. the post game has a huge difficulty spike too and i love it so much
-

Jun 30, 2020This game is so charming. The art-style is really pretty, the story is fantastic, and the gameplay is fun too (although I can understand the gameplay may not be loved by everyone). Also, the amount of content is huge! The post-game is even longer than the main-story; you could easily get over 100 hours out of this game!
It's a great remake to a great game from my childhood! -
Jun 25, 2020A remastered version of one of the greatest games ever created. This game keeps the charm as well as the best parts of the original while creating a beautiful new look for the series. I could not recommend this game enough.

Jun 20, 2020A fantastic remake of the GBA classic. The gameplay, visual, and auditory adjustments hugely improve what was already an amazing game.

Apr 28, 2020It has a great story whit challenging post game. Visually it is really cute to
-
Apr 8, 2020The game is perfectly fine as a remake with alot of content and replayability I feel people only hate on the game because they added quality of life features that make the game slightly easier etc or that they expected it to be a Pokemon game and were disappointed it wasn't the usual type because they didn't do any research
-
Apr 8, 2020A really good remake of a really good game. Perfect for playing during your mandated zoom meetings if that;s what you're looking for as the auto mode means most of the time u can just spam A and get away with playing. Otherwise it's still a great game for casual play. New features improve on the past game and I highly recommend it for something to just do in the background.

Aug 8, 2022All told, even with the quirky middling difficulty making this one hard to write home about, I still think Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is a fun game to play through. The postgame can be somewhat monotonous, but the main story keeps things going. Seriously, the plot is simple, but the dialogue between all of these Pokémon makes for a great experience. The mix of mature themes — life and death, protection and abandonment — with the childlike wonder of all things Pokémon keep the mind focused on the purpose of the quest, even when the quest itself is a heavy strain (or a simple frolic) for some players. If you’ve yet to try Mystery Dungeon games but want a better understanding, this might be a great starting place! If you’ve played other Pokémon Mystery Dungeon entries and appreciated their balance of challenge and storytelling, you’re likely to enjoy this remake of the one that started it all.

Nintendo Force MagazineMay 1, 2020I'm reticent to recommend this experience to anyone who hasn't already explored a few other Mystery Dungeons in the past. [Issue #46 – May/June 2020, p. 64]

Apr 19, 2020Rescue Team DX may be a remake, but it does not improve the original formula in almost any way. While the graphics and HUD had an obvious overhaul, the game is a repetitive yet somewhat charming and conflicted experience, that offers quality at the expense of some pretty weird and lazy solutions. Yet if you are a fan, you should not miss this one.
