A pesar de no ser una aventura nueva de pokemon, si no que un remake, no es algo ignovador, sin embargo es un juego muy divertido con el que te puedes pasar horas jugando sin cansarte, muy buen juego.

You can also pet your eevee, for all of the 3 year olds out there. I like that catching pokemon gives more exp, because it gives me a reason to buy pokeballs besides a tm slave and trying to get a shiny weedle. Overall, a good game. You gotta pick this one for all the pokemon fans out there. I would also highly recommend Pokemon White, that game is awesome, not like the one with reshiram, the **** legendary pokemon in the game. So yeah go pick this game up at best buy not gamestop dont give them money Expand

While this is a neat idea which is merging Pokemon Go and Pokemon Yellow together I think Lets Go is more of gateway for Pokmeon Go fans to become regular Pokemon fans. Gamefreak didn't put as much effort into this as they should of. While the game is fun to play in my opinion this is 4th Underwhelming game in a row (X&Y, Oras, US&M, LGP&E)

This game isn't perfect but is really good. It's essentially a modern console remake of red/blue/yellow with the battle system of Pokemon Go for wild encounters. Instead of battling them to low health and throwing poke-balls at them you just throw poke-balls at them based on timing. If it weren't for not being able to battle wild pokemon I would rate a 10.

Very casual games, but with pokemon, that's not a problem for me at all. The graphics are kinda nice, the music is outstanding and they absolutely nailed ride and following pokemon (and then forgot how to do it in SwSh and BDSP), wich shouldn't mean so much to me, but it does. It also really nicely remixes the original encounter tables and introduces overworld pokemon to the series!

The best game on Switch, for the sake of it I took the console and was not disappointed at all, a super high-quality reworked game with the GBA, which is a pleasure to return to and spend a couple of hundred hours... again

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Since I didn’t play Pokémon FireRed / LeafGreen that often, I was quite excited to give this one a try. I have to admit, that I was a bit sceptical at the beginning, because of the changes which were made. Nevertheless, I still wanted to travel through Kanto once again.

First of all, I really liked the idea of having to choose between only two pokémon: Evee and Pikachu. It just felt refreshing to have a normal / electric type pokémon at the beginning, instead of the usual fire, water and grass types. What’s maybe a bit too exaggerated is the fact that your starter pokémon has the best possible IV stats. I get, that they wanted to make it a bit stronger, so that the players wouldn’t have troubles at the beginning, but they didn’t need to make the starter absolutely perfect. Usually, if you want a pokémon with better stats you have to build up a chain, by catching the same pokémon over and over again. That doesn’t only increase the chance of catching a pokémon with better stats; it also increases the chance of encountering a shiny pokémon, which is a fairly cool system in my opinion. Sure, shinies aren’t that rare anymore because of that, but I still think it’s better to be able to hunt them properly.

Another good thing about this game is, that you can finally see the Pokémon running around in the overworld, so you can avoid encounters more easily. Sadly the fights themselves aren’t that great. The traditional round-based combat system was changed to Pokemon Go’s catching system. The encounters aren’t that time-consuming anymore, but it just isn’t as exciting and sometimes really annoying. Especially the fights with legendaries totally lost their charm. At first, you have 5 minutes to defeat the legendary pokémon and after that you can throw pokéballs at it. I also don’t like, that you can now catch more than one of each legendary bird and that you can only get Mew if you buy the pokéball plus.

The graphics and soundtrack are really good, even though some of the animations could have been a bit better. It’s cool, that you can ride or fly with pokémon in the overworld, which makes travelling much faster. I also like, that you can now use all the VMs without being forced to let a pokemon learn it.

Sadly, the game isn’t as challenging as the older games, because every time you catch or defeat a pokémon the whole team gets exp, which makes training much easier. In this game the pokémon don’t have any abilities and you also can’t give them items, which limits your strategies.

To conclude, Pokemon LGP and LGE are games whose target audience are newcomers and fans of gen 1. Even though it wasn’t the best pokémon game, it still had its exciting moments.

Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee are wonderful introductory games to the Pokemon franchise and still hold that Pokemon charm. Although the gameplay is not for everyone, it is a great game to play, if you're willing to spend the $60.

Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee are wonderful introductory games to the Pokemon franchise and still hold that Pokemon charm. Although the gameplay is not for everyone, it is a great game to play, if you're willing to spend the $60.

    Pros:
    - Yes, you can box your overpowered starter if you would like. This decreases the difficulty significantly.
    - There are more trainer battles to make up for the lack of wild battles.
    - The roaming wild Pokemon make the world seem more alive.
    - Pokemon can follow you now, and you can ride on specific Pokemon.
    - (Applying to all Pokemon games) The difficulty is not as glaring of an issue, since you can increase the difficulty by: ditching your starter, having a monotype team, playing a modified nuzlocke, etc.

    Cons:
    - Friendly rival. No one likes the friendly rival.
    - They may have stripped down the game too much, eliminating core concepts such as breeding, held items, and abilities.
    - The wild battles were thrown out the window, in favor of a Pokemon Go style of catching. This is certainly not for everyone and I personally dislike it.
    - The game is significantly easier than other Pokemon games if you keep your extremely overpowered starter.
    - There is a severe lack of post-game content, and what little content there is consists of: grinding, grinding, grinding, and battling. If you don't feel like wasting your time leveling your Pokemon, the play time of the game will be practically cut in half.

TL;DR: This game is not exactly like Pokemon Go, yet some of the game mechanics ported over from the mobile game are not for everyone. The difficulty, although significantly easier than the rest of the games, can be changed by switching to a harder playstyle. However, I personally don't think it is worth the $60. Overall, a great introduction to the series and a very casual game. If you are a veteran of the series, though, you might want to wait for the 2019 main-series game.

Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee! is the last seventh generation Pokemon game and the first Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch. It is a remake of the original Pokemon game, Pokemon Yellow. It was released in 2018. The original Pokemon Kanto games are almost sacrosanct to me. I do not want people to mess with it, change it or interfere with it any any way. It is a remake of the original Pokemon game, Pokemon Yellow. It was released in 2018. The original Pokemon Kanto games are almost sacrosanct to me. I do not want people to mess with it, change it or interfere with it any any way. The FireRed / LeafGreen remakes released almost twenty years ago for the Gameboy Advance were absolutely fantastic, I regard them as possibly the best Pokemon games in history. This time the developers got carried away a little bit. But lets start with the positives. The graphics. The new Nintendo Switch graphics look really amazing, for me probably the greatest technological step between two systems in the history of Pokemon games. The graphics of this game is also done very well, it sticks to the original shapes and colors that we all know and love. The Pokemon textures and animations are done to a lot of details and are really pretty. The music is also great, atmospheric and nostalgic. The story is kept mostly intact, with some changes (your rival, Team Rocket). But big changes come to the gameplay. The fact that the Pokemon are just running around in the Routes is actually not a bad idea, it brings a lot of life, it takes some RNG of the game. I would prefer the original system, but I can live with it. The system of catching Pokemon, which is a modified version of the Pokemon Go system is just plain wrong, I do not know what more can I say, It just does not work for me in this type of game at all. On top of that, Battling trainers no longer gives you that much Exp, so you will have to rely on catching Pokemon to level up. Other changes has been done to the way Pokemon are stored, there is no longer a PC for you to use in every Poke Center. Instead you can access your stored Pokemon at any point outside of a Pokemon battle. That is quite a big nerf, especially in the Pokemon League, where you can tailor your party for every member of the Elite Four. Also not a very good idea. And finally we have your Poke Partner, Eevee (or Pikachu in Let's Go: Pikachu!). I believe this has a lot of potential, there could be some mechanics that would make you take care of your Partner Pokemon and grow the bond between you. But in the end there is not much for your Eevee to do, except ride on your hat and waggle its tail when you are near a hidden item. Also you cannot evolve it, so for it to stay effective in combat, they just created 9 new ridiculously overpowered moves and you get them for free, just like that, quite early on in the game. That is just incompetence. Minor Microtransaction (Pokeball plus) and luckily No SJW. Thank you for that at least. I played on PC using the Yuzu emulator.

I was really looking forward to going through all these well known routes and towns after all these years, but it just somehow does not feel the same. Because it is not the same, I suspect. Next time, please make it the same as it used to be. Final Verdict: 72 %

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. i think eerybody who played the game had mixed feelings at the start of the game , the type of feeling that you feel that the game isnt too good but you keep playing because it is pokemon , but tbh this is the third best pokemon game of the switch i 'll explain why.

    1. the capture mechanic , similar to pokemon go but the difference is that you actually "throw " the pokeball to capture instead of swiping with your finger , you may think that doesn't make huge difference but i can guarantee you it does , it is way more interactive and way funnier , the only down on the catch mechanic is in the handle mode of the switch , i think they should've use the touch of the screen to capture in handle mode.

    2. the supposed "lack of battles" i think every person who is into the world of pokemon games , already heard some fan saying that some specific game has a lot or a less in terms of trainer battles , and in this game i think it has the perfect ammount , since the new catching mechanic is the best way to get xp , the pokemon battles only serve for money and pokeballs .

    3. pokemons spawns , tbh the pokemon spawns in this game are really horrible , i have 40 hours of the game and i captured a lot of pokemons , specially pokemons that i saw that i didnt had in the dex because they give you more xp and i never saw and oddish , shelder , only saw two pikachus , and you may say that they spawn in specific routes as we all know but every EVERY grass has only ratatas and pidgey , you have to wait sometimes more than 10 minutes to spawn something different , not to mention the fact that some good pokemons only spawn in the end routes like poliwhirl , poliwhirl literally spawns in the games to the victory road , magma only spawns in the 7th gym location aswell weezing and koffing that makes impossible to make a team that you have in mind because they spawn way to late in the game which causes the pokemon to have like 10-20 levels below yours , "but you can use pokemon go to transfer" it ain't worth it , a pokemon with 2100 cp in pokemon go will give you level 25 in the game plus you only unlock the go park in fuschia city which by that time you already have your pokemons level 35+ .

    4. the pokemon moves , if you want to have pokemon moves you need or to spend all of your money in tms instead of pokeballs which causes less xp , or wait until the victory road that is when you can get all the tms , "but why tms " because of the fact that the pokemons DON'T learn moves , i only learned one move on ninetales by leveling up , only 1 on golem , NONE in kingler and only the first moves in eevee , you end up with the moves that the guy on the pokecenter gave you for eevee .

the game is funny after you understand how to use the catch mechanic , story gameplay etc nothing about it its a pokemon yellow remake but it is a MAXIMUM 7.

Overall, I did have a blast playing Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee. I did like visiting all the cities of the original Pokémon games again and seeing all the original Pokémon. However, I really did not like how they changed how you capture Pokémon and I did not like the setup of the Pokémon boxes. For those who want to play this game for nostalgia reasons, I would recommend waiting until a sale comes out before purchasing. For newcomers to Pokémon, this is a really good introduction into the world of Kanto.

It’s hard to make sense of the game that’s basically a Switch port of iOS/Android remake of Pokemon Red/Green. Is it a step forward, step backward – or maybe just a shameless cash-in? Turns out, it’s a great remake – the world looks exactly as we imagined it back when we were staring at black and white pixels of original Red/Green. [Issue#235, p.44]
