    Take on the role of the Scrappers, a squad of robot garbage collectors working to clean up a grimy city in the not-so-distant future. Sweep the streets alone or form the ultimate team with up to 4 players. Time is money in Junktown, so stack that trash high and toss to your squad to boost efficiency for bigger rewards.

    Garbage collection is only part of the job! Robotic rivals will attack and interfere; it’s up to you to dispose of them while staying on schedule. Teamwork is key to maximizing efficiency and achieving high scores, unlocking new characters, and customization options.

    As far as co-op games go, PixelJunk Scrappers Deluxe is a thoroughly enjoyable title that's jam-packed with variety and nifty mini-games.

    PixelJunk Scrappers Deluxe is a good, fairly unique idea with several interesting challenges to juggle, and, if you enjoyed the original, the expanded worlds and new additions will fulfill your craving for more recycling action. Clever though it is in premise and arrangement, however, it isn’t a very thrilling single-player game until around halfway through. If you do decide to give it a spin, you want to be online-ready, because multiplayer is where its engineering comes to the fore.

    If you’re looking for something a little unique to spice up your multiplayer gaming sessions, PixelJunk Scrappers makes a compelling case. It’s not quite in that Overcooked zone where just about anyone can contribute something, but it’s not in that hardcore zone where only the super-skilled players are having fun either. Those who don’t regularly play with others might want to proceed with more caution, however. The single-player mode is missing that special zip, and finding random people to play with online is as difficult a task as it usually is for all but the biggest of games on Switch.
