Picross S5 is another solid entry in Jupiter’s Picross series. With 485 puzzles across a few different styles, it’s filled with a lot of great, engaging content. It still has the same old issues, chiefly no touch screen controls, but the novelty of the co-op and the new tweaks like higher contrast colors are good accessibility inclusions. Whether you’re a first-time Picross player or a weary nonogram veteran, Picross S5 is great.

Just like its predecessors, it contains 485 puzzles to solve, most of which are unique in the entire series. Picross is my favorite type of puzzles, so I am pleased with what I got. There are four different types of Picross, the standard Picross, Mega Picross with numbers that stretch over two rows/columns, Clip Picross with a lot of small puzzles that result in one huge Image, and Color Picross, the same but with three different colors. It might be a bit expensive for Picross Newcomers at 10€, but its definitely worth it if you see it on sale. Full Review »
