I am a Dad gamer. I bought this for less than $15 to share my love of gaming with my 4 year old. Its definitely a kids game, but it’s also like an interactive episode(s) of Paw Patrol you can play co-op with your young kid. We have completed and unlocked a little more than half the game in about two hours. I expect to get another two or three hours of daddy daughter time with it. AI am a Dad gamer. We have completed and unlocked a little more than half the game in about two hours. I expect to get another two or three hours of daddy daughter time with it. A grownup could platinum it in an hour, but $3-4 an hour for entertaining kids is a decent deal. It offers nothing new, it is not amazing, it’s load times are awful, and getting the game to let you play two players is hit or miss, AND My kid is 4, so this is exactly her speed. It looks fine, not far off from the animation in the show, it plays well once it loads, and it’s very friendly to young gamers IF there is someone to read to them (some of the dialogue is voiced by the actors and some is just text)

Buy it if it’s on sale AND you Have a young gamer you want to bond with.

    If On a Roll was a primer for 2D platformers, then this follow-up is a tutorial for the 3D variety. [Issue #51 – March/April 2021, p.73]

Paw Patrol/Mighty Pups: Save Adventure Bay does nothing to save itself from being mediocre and a weak attempt to take advantage of an easily exciting franchise. To me, the game was almost offensive, with its generic take and the developer’s hope that name recognition carries it – which it almost did. Like I said earlier, I am not the demographic for the game. Being six, my son liked the game, but I could tell he sees the faults in it.
