PAN-PAN is a lovely little game to get sucked into - oozing with charm and a handful of quirky characters to meet along the way. There's admittedly little replay value other than to re-explore the lush planet and solve the puzzles in a quicker, smoother manner, and while the environmental puzzles might range from frustratingly obtuse to organically wonderful, the planet rewards your time and exploration. Once the credits roll and after everything you've achieved, it will be almost impossible not to reflect positively on your short but sweet journey.

It's cheap, it's charming and although short, may challenge you. If you are after something a little different, then you should give PAN PAN a look. In a growing library of indie titles, it's nice to have something a little different, even if only for a little while.

The game is told without any dialogue or text, aside from little verbal intonations, so you're left to figure out the world and controls on your own. The game is still friendly, giving you clear pop-up prompts whenever there's an object you can interact with, but there's still enough room to discover secrets and surprise mechanics.

The goals aren't immediately obvious, and puzzles aren't always self-contained in one area. I was originally a little frustrated with the game before discovering I'd overlooked solutions that were obvious in hindsight. Overall I really enjoyed Pan-Pan and would highly recommend it if you want to spend an hour or two solving puzzles in an adorable atmosphere.

The ambiance, the art style and the universe is really cute. I would have like a bit more, maybe some short dialogue or something. Could have polished the game much more.

The puzzle are not that easy, especially that you don't have really any cues to help, but once you figured out how this universe work, it feels kinda instinctive. There is actually only one puzzle I couldn't figure out, youtube saved me. But otherwise it's not that extreme (like Myst....).

The feeling of loneliness, even if helped by some mute NPCs, is a good fit for that game.

I really had fun with this game, even if it was done in maybe 4 hours. I definitely would want a bigger game like this one, with more story stuff in it !

Challenges are a task of time, not a task of intellect. Character design and spacial relationships in this game left me wanting.
