    One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is not only one of the best One Piece games but possibly one of the best Musou games around.

    Fighting countless hordes of bad guys never got old and proved to be a fantastic way to relieve stress. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is a game that’s worthy of being in anybody’s Switch collection. Step into the shoes of your favorite Straw Hat and enter the battlefield. Trust me — you won’t be disappointed.

    One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is better than previous games, as it adds cool new features as well as more playable characters and options. As always, although this title can be enjoyed by any player, it is perfect for manganime fans who like the musou genre.

    Overall, I find myself enjoying this title over PW3, and personally feel it's a step in the right direction.

    Pirate Warriors 3's attempt to streamline the series and remove the majority of the story elements left the game feeling a little dull, and PW4 has done a good job succeeding where PW3 failed.

    |||Positives (IMO):
    Aerial combos have been introduced to help diversify game-play against other flying characters and larger opponents. (1 Land Moveset and 1 Aerial Moveset as oppose to 2 Land Movesets like in PW3)
    Giant enemies have been added, which fixes the issue of previously large characters being scaled incorrectly (They were too small) (Now you get to kick butt as a GIANT WHITEBEARD!!!)

    More fleshed out Story Mode (Keeping 3 arcs for each half of the series may seem disappointing, but it's really not. Instead of each arc having 1-2 levels with all the story elements squeezed into them, each arc has 5-7 levels that focuses on multiple aspects of the arc.)

    Improved Map Design (In PW3, every map was a bunch of squares and corridors, which eventually got pretty stale. In PW4 however, every map has a unique design that has no shape limitations.)

    Improved Boss Fights (While PW1 still has the best boss fights imo, this game was a step in the right direction due to the inclusion of destructible environments and dynamic map changes.)

    Music (Omg just take a listen! THE SOUNDTRACK IS GOD TIER!)

    Choosing your own Specials - This was something that was exclusive to Luffy in Pirate Warriors 1, but NOW EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER GETS THE OPTION WHICH IS AMAZING! |||

    Negatives:

    Costumes (Luffy gets his special costume for every arc, but most of the other characters unfortunately keep their initial outfits. This is a damn shame because there's a lot of awesome character outfits in each arc.)

    No Quick Time Events (Idk who said these were annoying because damn were they fun in the first Pirate Warriors. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK SOMEDAY!)

    Some PTS Strawhats Not Playable (I'm not exactly sure why certain characters with full movesets are unplayable, but they are. I think it's a bit silly to code in all of PTS Franky's combos and then only let the AI use them...)

    The Camera: It's just bad....
