    One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition is a definitive version of a game that despite starting to show its age, it still offers a wide amount of content and a great variety of characters, as well as a top notch soundtrack. The game focuses a bit too much on the series' fans, however, and leaves little else to those unfamiliar with the One Piece universe, meaning it will not enlarge its audience by a whole lot.

    The Switch version of Pirate Warriors 3 may not be the most detailed graphic version out there, but the developers put a considerable amount of work to guarantee the same experience for Nintendo users.

    Overall the game runs great, looks and sounds good, and still plays great in handheld mode. It is a blast taking on large groups with over the top attacks. Hopefully Namco Bandai have more One Piece games in store for the Switch, but for now Pirate Warriors 3 is a seaworthy addition to the stash.

    As a Warriors game, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition comes a somewhat repetitive hack n’ slash combat that doesn’t do much more than empowering the player. However, if you’re a fan of the anime, you’ll be able to relieve the best moments of Luffy’s adventures as a beautiful game with tons of content to keep you hooked for a very long time.

    One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 is mainly dedicated to the fans of the saga, including those of the "dynasty warriors-like" games. From this point of view it turns out as a fun, long-lived and complete offer, unfortunately not so strong in the technical porting.

    One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is a game you’ve played before, but it’s a blast nonetheless. The anime’s outlandish storyline ties together neatly with the hectic fun of a Musou game, ensuring this is an appealing and meaty package. It’s just a shame it doesn’t take more risks with the tried-and-tested formula.

    One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 on Switch runs great, is amazing for fans and once again has some great combat. It's a shame that newcomers will feel lost and that losing is so punishing. It does have plenty of content for musou fans and One Piece fans alike.

    One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 rather than a "deluxe edition" appears as a porting created only to take advantage of Switch’s portability, without taking much care of the docked version. It remains a good title for lovers of the genre and the Oda’s manga, but if you don’t fall into these two categories we don’t recommend it.

    I love the Warriors games and I love One Piece, its one of THE stories, so this is the supreme mix to me.

    This game made me fall back in love with One Piece. I love Koet Tecmo hack-and-slash games, and this one is very unique to the DW and SWThis game made me fall back in love with One Piece. Almost similar to Hyrule Warriors, Pirate Warriors has more simplified controls and yet the attacks look better than DW and SW character abilities. Definitely don't rely on this game to get the full depth and greatness of the anime and manga BUT it's so much fun.… Full Review »
