Oh… Sir! The Hollywood Roast proposes a different and wild idea wrapped in a unique setting and a sense of humor with good and bad parts. It's not every day that we play an insult simulator, for which reason it's an attractive offer that, nevertheless, ends up becoming repetitive after a few hours of gameplay, something accentuated by its lack of content.

The Hollywood Roast is an entertaining game that transfers very well from pc and mobile devices to the Switch. The game involves stringing words and sentences together to make roasts towards your opponent and decrease their health bar. While it seems simple there is quite a bit of strategy that is needed to outsmart another actual player, unfortunately, the AI won't provide much of a challenge. While there is a career type game mode for each character that allows for a decent single player experience the game really shines in its local co-op. Splitting apart the Joycons and playing against a friend while yelling insane mostly non-sensible roasts at one another is absolutely hilarious and very entertaining. The game also offers online play but the servers don't seem to be filled with people, therefore I won't comment too much on this aspect of the game. Overall for its small price tag, the game serves as a really fun party game to play with friends with very good production value. The voice acting is good and the game doesn't get repetitive quickly. This is a wonderful addition to people looking for more party games for their Switch library, and is a mediocre purchase if you're looking to mostly play single-player.

    Cons
Online will probably be mostly obsolete
Single-player will become boring after a couple hours
Graphical style of the game is not for everyone
