It is spectacular, an other indie game better than AAA games, it’s perfect!

This is probably the best rpg I have ever played. I'm not a big fan of the genre as a rule but this has a lot of fun options and depth. I am playing the campaign with my grilfriend, and we both love the playstyle. It walks a fine line between rpgs and not doing the things that make people like me hate rpgs. As a two player game, I cannot recommend it enough. Though don't expect Zelda orThis is probably the best rpg I have ever played. This game is fun in a way that most games aspire to be, but often fall short. The mechanic of leveling up new forms (classes) using skill combinations in new way makes approaching new portions of the game feel fresh. Knowing I have more forms to work towards gives me just enough of an incentive to keep pushing forward. The game is just plain fun! Prior to this, I had just finished Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening, which was an enjoyable stroll through nostalgia. Switching to Nobody Saves the World, I didn't have a lot of high hopes for it, especially because it was the same type of game essentially... but after about 12 hours of Nobody I can honestly say I'm enjoying this game MUCH more than LoZ:LA. Nobody Saves the World takes the joke a little too far, forcing the player to go through the same motions over and over, to the point where it feels like the game is laughing at you, rather than with you. [Issue #63 – January/February 2023, p. 19]

Nobody Saves the World is a unique and charming action RPG, but it’s held back by some frustrating decisions and a disappointing beginning and end.

Nobody Saves the World is a charming action RPG with a beautiful visual style, accessible and welcoming gameplay, and a great variety in how we handle its dungeons. Its mechanics are simple enough for any player to grasp but that doesn't mean its difficulty level doesn't get demanding. Nobody Saves the World is a fun and ambitious gem that goes beyond the label of an 'indie' game and which will fit nicely in any Nintendo Switch.
