    I bought this because I was excited by reviews linked here, but as much fun as the first few hours were I find it's quite a grind once you get past the first big achievement of clearing the king's castle.. you go from a tight and well directed thing that's lots of fun to a wide open field of things you could try but everything is ridiculously OP and so you go back to the ones you alreadyI bought this because I was excited by reviews linked here, but as much fun as the first few hours were I find it's quite a grind once you get past the first big achievement of clearing the king's castle.. you go from a tight and well directed thing that's lots of fun to a wide open field of things you could try but everything is ridiculously OP and so you go back to the ones you already did and grind grind grind in the hope of eventually getting new forms and abilities that might help you with the new crazily OP areas.... In short, it went from great fun to totally not fun and I am not sure I have the enthusiasm or energy left to try and get out of this giant drag that the game served up.… Expand

    Good game with fun gameplay, story and characters. Ok level design and enemy design with similar locations and uninspiring enemies/bosses. Some annoying challenges, quests and grinding to progress.

    This is probably the best rpg I have ever played. I'm not a big fan of the genre as a rule but this has a lot of fun options and depth. I am playing the campaign with my grilfriend, and we both love the playstyle. It walks a fine line between rpgs and not doing the things that make people like me hate rpgs. As a two player game, I cannot recommend it enough. Though don't expect Zelda orThis is probably the best rpg I have ever played.     A nice and colourful RPG which shines with its character abilities' customisation and real time combat often against hordes of monsters.
    But I think both Guacamelee! games (which are by the same studio) to be better and more polished, especially when it comes to music and humour.
    Still, Nobody Saves the World was fun.

    This game is fun in a way that most games aspire to be, but often fall short. The mechanic of leveling up new forms (classes) using skill combinations in new way makes approaching new portions of the game feel fresh. Knowing I have more forms to work towards gives me just enough of an incentive to keep pushing forward. The game is just plain fun!     Nobody Saves the World is a charming action RPG with a beautiful visual style, accessible and welcoming gameplay, and a great variety in how we handle its dungeons. Its mechanics are simple enough for any player to grasp but that doesn't mean its difficulty level doesn't get demanding. Nobody Saves the World is a fun and ambitious gem that goes beyond the label of an 'indie' game and which will fit nicely in any Nintendo Switch.
