Oct 9, 2021The game could be great. But the default controls are terrible. You can remap them at least. But without voices and no tap jump. The game goes completely against your smash muscle memory. This causes lots of frustration. A update to add tap jump would make it far more playable.

Oct 6, 2021So, Nickelodeon All Star Brawl is a fair game in the end. While it can be fun, there are some flaws that can hold it back but overall, this is a fair smash clone that has potential.

Oct 8, 2021Very boring, not much to do at all. The animations look like something you would see from a n64 game. Half the roster is just a copy and paste from smash. It’s super slow paced and feels like you’re on the moon. No voice acting. The games graphics look like trash (on all consoles). I just don’t see the reason to play this when I could just play smash bros

Oct 6, 2021Overall a quite fast-paced platform fighter that feels very different from others in the genre. Though an overall fun experience, there's quite a lack of polish (especially online) yet an enjoyable experience still. Hopefully future updates will smooth out the rough edges.

Oct 6, 2021A good game overall, personally I have two gripes I hope get worked on. 1 In offline play on the switch, your controls don't always get saved when someone else becomes player 1 after a match. 2 The online connection is a good bit worse than the pc version.

Oct 7, 2021This game is an amazing Smash-like with great characters, but I really wish there was more casual modes. Competitively it could rival Rivals or even Melee. But for a game about children’s cartoons I would like expect more then just Online quickly and arcade mode for the causals. Also the load times kinda linger.

Oct 16, 2021This game is not perfect but for what it is. I think the game is great for what it is. The development team did a good job in my opinion with all the resources they had to put this game together and I gotta say I'm having alot of fun with it.

Oct 9, 2021The online feels so much smoother for 1vs1 compared to smash bros ultimate. It really makes a huge difference.

Oct 9, 2021I feel like most of the people complaining are just too into smash bros, and wont give any other platform fighters a chance to shine. Amazing game, congrats to the developers for making an amazing fighting game. Purchased the game for my switch, ps5, and Xbox.

Jun 21, 2022A very much unfinished platform fighter that shows a bit of promise on the competitive side of things.

Jul 7, 2022Of all the nostalgia based smash clones out there, this has to be one of if not the worst. Clunky controls, nothing to hype up the nostalgia factor besides their sprites and just overall not very fun, it could be amusing if you have any nostalgic feelings for any of the characters, but it wont be long before this one is vaulted never to be seen again.

Nov 29, 2021Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is a fighting game with platform elements that delivers a simple but fun experience, drawing from Nickelodeon's rich character list, and gives the fans an engaging but accessible fighting system. Its performance needs improvement, though, as fluidity problems become too common, and there could have been a greater effort to go into Nickelodeon's catalogue, especially when it comes to the audio environment. A package of fun action that's mostly directed at Nickelodeon animation fans.

Nintendo Force MagazineNov 8, 2021A lot of the game feels like a rough draft, but it's simplistic enough for families to jump into for a quick match and have a lot of fun. Just don't expect to spend a ton of time with it. [Issue #56 – November/December 2021, p. 70]

Oct 28, 2021Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl almost feels as if it was sold on the sheer premise of reviving Melee with Nickelodeon characters. On the fighting end, it mostly succeeds, but due to a lack of polish, cut corners and just a cheap feel, I’m skeptical how long this game can keep your attention. Yes, the sheer hilarity of seeing Patrick Star beat up CatDog is still funny, but I don’t think the lifespan of this game will increase over time. Watching all these fighters silently duke it out makes it feel like we’re watching storyboards for a singular crossover episode. While that may entice you into watching the commercials, the final product just leaves all these popular properties feel compromised.
