Around 9 hours to finish. Not a lot of replay value to make it worth playing multiple endings but still felt worth it to me.

I loved the writing in this game. The characters were so fun and well developed to the point that I genuinely cared about what happened with them. The writing does a good job developing motives, personality and showing growth throughout the story too.
I found the jokes to be hilarious too! It was definitely my kind of humor and even if some jokes didn't land, I still appreciated the light hearted, high camp and just goofy nature of the jokes or silly situations. It's definetly one of those games that dependably put a smile on my face nearly consistently as the tone frequently stays high energy and ridiculous.
I didn't really have any moments of cringe with the writing, I think those that might not like high camp humor though and a story that doesn't take itself too seriously might be turned off. It rarely gets serious or gives any story beats that isn't aimed at being silly until the last chapter. The last chapter takes a darker turn and has some really sweet or touching moments. I really enjoyed the climax and seeing where the journey ended up and eventually concluded into.
Performance wise, it was lacking on the switch. I did have some lag with loading of textures that was annoying but it was not frequent and when it happened it was brief enough to not impact the experience.
The multiple endings and choice mechanics were not the best. There isn't a lot of good reasons to replay to get multiple endings. It'd take a lot of work just to go back through the story for slightly different dialog for such a little payoff as the difference isn't significant enough to feel rewarding. I'd recommend maybe just look at the multiple endings on YouTube. For that reasons, choices felt meaningless other then to keep engaged and for flavor with the story that you can customize. Definetly treat this more as an interactive TV show then a telltale-like game. It didn't bother me though as I enjoyed the show that was delivered and it had good pacing by ending right when it felt like it should start wrapping up.
I'd definitely recommend to anyone wanting a silly low pressure interactive show to watch. I'd recommend to put it on easy and simplify the controls though so when you get button presses or prompts you don't need to stress about trying to do all that, it's distracting more then fun.… Expand
