    To be honest, it probably dont deserve a 10. But its a solid game, with alot of fan service to the fans of the old N64 game - myself included. Rating this 0/10 because you dont like the idea of taking photos of pokemon is just stupid, so here you go - 10/10. Even touch its more like an 8/10 to be honest.

    Great game! It's really fun when you take great pics and upload em. You'd be surprised how many sweet medals you get! Adding effects to make you're pics look nice takes time, and after you see the results you begin to feel like a true artist!

    It expands on the strengths of the original one, and makes some great additions like the star categories that really up the replayability and exploration elements of this game!

    I played the original Pokemon Snap on my Wii in 2011 and it took me 5 hrs to beat it. For the New Pokemon Snap it took me 10 hrs to beat the story. After the story there is more Pokemon to discovery & over 100 request to do which I have to played the courses over and over again. It the best looking Pokemon game yet. I'm surprise it getting a free update on Aug 3 2021 with new pokemon & levels

    As a succesor this is a 10/10, the originally formula but improved in basically every single aspect (except the evolutions which i missed). Graphics are the best the pokemon series have seen (to be honest, not that hard but ok), gameplay is very much improved to the original snap, lots of different maps, beautiful attention to detail, lots of new pokemon.

    As a brand new game, in 2021 is where this game might be hit or miss: You are tied to on rails, to take screenshots of pokemon, that would be the basic pitch for this game. Of course is more detailed than that but for someone that is absolutely not familiar with the pokemon franchise or a more "chill" take pictures of something game, this is where the recommendation gets hard.

    But where it shines, it does it perfectly: capturing the beautiful diversity of the Pokemon world, their habitats and how they interact. If you are into Pokemon, this is a must if you aren't then this gets a bit harder to recommend specially at $60.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I hadn't felt the joy I'm feeling with this game in a long time. I know it's not perfect, and its biggest flaw in my opinion is how repetitive it is, but for my own personal taste it a very relaxing game, at the same time it's rewarding and addictive. The graphics are nice and the premisse is right up my alley. It's not for everybody, but it's definetelly for me. I'm not usually a completionist, but with this game I want to go and complete everything, so for me it was worth the full price I paid Expand

    The only reason I cant give a perfect score, is the tutorial. It's way too long in New Pokemon Snap. Text box upon text box, when literally all you do is point and press the A button. The game also goes out of it's way to explain to you how photos are scored, when categories like "size" and "centering" and pretty self explanatory.

    Não entendi os reviews bomb. Como alguém que jogou o primeiro titulo no N64, sabia exatamente o que esperar, mas na realidade fui surpreendido pelo jogo. Pokemon Snap (N64) você termina em uma tarde, tenho mais de 13 horas no NPS e continuo descobrindo novas áreas, interações, cantos com pokemon escondidos, o jogo é muito mais do que quem jogou o original imaginaria.

    Pontos de destaque:
    Diversos Pokémon (lembre-se que é um spin-off);
    Um dos melhores, senão o melhor gráfico em um jogo da franquia;
    Fator replay altíssimo;
    Sistema online;
    Novas áreas e funções para chamar atenção dos Pokémon e tirar foros variadas.

    O que deixou a desejar:
    Pokémon evoluindo com interações, assim como no original;
    Tutorial muito extenso Interação online poderia ser mais completa, como acessar perfil de amigos, competições de pontuação, etc.

    Ficaria feliz de ver DLCs com novas áreas no futuro! 8.5/10

    I'm not joking when I say this: best Pokémon game I've ever played. It's so charming, pretty (for capabilities of the Switch hardware) and well-animated. Animation was a big complaint about Sword and Shield, and I'm hoping some of the animation team here will move on to Legends Aeceus. Good job, Bandai Namco!

    The world is immersive and it realy feels like youre spectating a living and breathing world full of your favourite creatures.
    The only downside for me, is, that it only features little over 200 Pokemon, and a lot of Evolution-lines are broken (why is there only the first and third stage for some pokemon?) which leaves a lot of room for DLCs/future releases I'd happily buy

    Very much the same game as the 64 original. Updated graphics. Larger and more worlds. Much more Pokémon. A few new systems sprinkled in. Would have liked to have seen more innovation. However having a lot of fun playing the game.

    Must have for Pokemon fans. But still recommended as a casual game for others (although maybe wait until on sale)

The only slight issue I have is with the padding, as unlocking new content can take a bit longer than might be ideal at first. Graphics: 10/10 - Relative to other titles of a similar nature on the market in 2021, I found this game's graphics absolutely enchanting.
    Sound: 5/10 - Nothing special. Competent and occasional good tracks, but generally underwhelming.
    Story: 6.5/10 - It does what it needs to do competently, and there are some nice conceptual touches, but none the less nobody is playing this game for the story.
    Summary: 9/10 - Perfect for kids, fans of the original or pokemon and (amateur) photography enthusiasts. There's also a surprising amount of content compared to the original (not every game needs to be a bloated 80 hour marathon), and not a minute felt wasted.

    I'm very satisfied with this game. Beautiful scenery, and very laid-back.

    In a nutshell: as a researcher, you travel to various places, interact with wild Pokémon and take photos to document their behavior. This simple concept only works thanks to the Pokémon, but it doesn’t have to be a drawback, because the game shows the world of pocket monsters more realistically and vividly than any title before it.
