Sep 8, 2017It took me all but 10 minutes to realize this game is awesome and another few hours to understand why. The action is intense, the controls are precise, the powers are diverse, and the Music is freaking AWESOME! I need to play it some more, particularly with multiplayer before I rate it higher than an 8, but I've seen enough to know it's at least an 8 and has potential to be much more.

Sep 4, 2022looks good, but gameplay not funny. play with only oneway. shoot and move back. shoot and move to back. shoot and move to side. very different game with enter the gungeon. can't move through enemy shots. enemy shots move too fast and too much come together.

Aug 31, 2018While it doesn’t necessarily revolutionize any of the genres from which it draws inspiration, NeuroVoider still manages to be an exceptionally enjoyable game. Not only did the developers create a mechanically fun game, but they added in a layer of highly enjoyable and deep customization options that is the true heart of the game; no matter what your play-style is, there are countless ways to create unique variations of it. Considering the joy of replaying the game, its issues with occasionally cheap boss fights do little to distract you.

Nov 22, 2017Neurovoider is a fun twin-stick shooter and is especially great to have and take around with me everywhere I go. The moody soundtrack bangs, the game's frantic and fast, and the loot system is engaging as you build yourself up and find new and amazingly named things. It's especially perfect if you need a game that you can play a quick couple of rounds of while you're waiting somewhere or on a commute – it starts to feel a little samey and doesn't do too much to set itself apart as different from other similar games, but it's a good time nonetheless.

Nov 20, 2017Neurovoider is an exciting addition to the Switch library of eShop titles. Just under $14 will buy a game with surprising levels of depth and player choice. Even those apprehensive at the thought of playing a roguelike, either due to its difficulty or its unpredictability, should find plenty to like with Neurovoider. At the very least, it provides several hours of entertaining play, either solo or with friends. At best, it might prove to be your next gaming addiction.
