A modern day smash tv full of blasting and guts. Anybody remember the game loaded from ps1. Sometimes you dont need deep strategy rpg type. Something like the old arcades robotron smash tv. Go in blastin and have a hell of a time. And then you have coop. Icing on the cake

I have played this game on my cell phone connected to my TV some time ago. And now on the switch. I´m a big fan of twin stick shooters. I even made some comparison reviews and the two 10tons games are the best. Jydge and Neon Chrome. I have spent about 60 hours on this game. I´m on OverSeer v.9 and I still enjoy it!
Maybe when you start the game, you will need some time go get used to it.

Neon Chrome is a fun twin-stick shooter that has a rewarding upgrade feature and a good visual aesthetic. The controls feel tight, even if they do take some getting used to, and the procedural environments, enemy placements, and character selection, all ensure that each playthrough feels fresh. The visual setting from level to level could do with a bit more distinction as each level is based in the same type of office floor, but this is a minor gripe. Overall, there is a lot of game-time to be had within Neon Chrome, and those looking for a twin-stick shooter on the Nintendo Switch should certainly take note.

Neon Chrome has qualities going for it, such as its procedurally generated levels, a wide variety of weapons and upgrades and a welcome difficulty level that forces the players to constantly change their tactics. It also feels like a game that could have gone much further, as its plot doesn't really take off and its audiovisual component feels worn out and adds nothing remarkable to this production.

Neon Chrome is a brilliant title that has plenty of content packed into it with well-designed gameplay mechanics at work to give players a solid title. Though playing in docked mode has a number of minor issues that can be overlooked, the game is a blast to play in handheld mode. If you are looking for an engaging and challenging title you and pick up and play on the go then look no further than Neon Chrome.
