You have to shell out at least a good $150 to experience the main game mode and it's still a mess. You have to pay real money to boost your stats in a pvp game. Games crash and it still takes your "boost" you paid for. A virtual t shirt or durag cost more than in real life. Bugs that have been in previous games just don't get fixed. I feel so dumb for buying this absolute trash. The people at 2k are also trash. It already sucked and 23 is even worse. It’s so unbalanced I’m shocked. complete POS game with nothing new except for worse gameplay play. You can predict how every single game will end.

NBA 2K23 is once again the best basketball game available on Nintendo Switch. However, such a milestone has no merit when, in addition to not innovating, there is no real competition in the market. Therefore, it is a perfect title only for lovers of that sport.

NBA 2K23 makes the inevitable downgrades and cuts that we see every year with this franchise on Nintendo's console and, just like other last-gen versions of the game, it's also missing both The City and the brand new MyNBA Eras. Loading times can be frustrating, and 30fps basketball feels noticeably stodgier than the 60fps found in other versions. However, if you can put up with these necessary downgrades and slight technical shortcomings, this is still a solid port of a superb basketball sim that's stuffed full of enough content to see fans through another season.
