My Jurassic Farm 2018 is not a good game.

It was very late into the night and I stumbled upon my Jurassic farm 2018 for switch. I simply bought it because of my hype for farm sims and dinosaurs. Simple enough concept, an even simpler game and enough regret to write a review.
BiP media has been putting out reskins of their “my farm” game for years. At least since 2011 I found out. This is just one of them. Others include: my exotic, my Asian, my Australian, and my arctic farm.
The gameplay is to feed, bathe, medicate, clean farm, sell dino eggs, repeat. You can complete these tasks by repeating a sequence of trigger pulls and button clicks and you have a happy farm.
These types of games and it’s repetitive nature usually signal a grindy reward but in My Jurassic Farm 2018 there’s no need! Nothing is a secret and they give you a new Dino with every couple of levels. There is no need to save your in game currency to buy Dino’s because they’re just given to you. There are no secrets in the game, in fact there is nothing satisfying about the game whatsoever.
There is no room for creativity or choice in the game as every plot on your farm is dedicated to one type of Dino. I don’t know about you but I want that freedom or to develop my farm how I like!
Before I get to ramble let’s get this out there.
Pros:
Cute dinosaurs
Simple gameplay
Decent tutorial
Not broken
Cons:
Repetitive
No freedom or creativity allowed
No good rewards
Can’t see anything during the night cycle so 10pm-7am is useless
The Dino eggs don’t even hatch!
No unique animations for Dino. They just walk around their pen.
Rating: 3/10
Recommended other games with dinosaurs: parkasaurus, happy birthdays, Jurassic world evolution. While those may not be perfect, it’s at least 4points higher than this game… Expand
